This is a story that will never be finished, and sadly, even with its high potential, it’s something that’s not worth following and will never be even like Demon Slayer.

I know single paneles within the HxH manga that carry more narrative weight than the entirety of demon slayer. If you wanna rage-bait you need a bit more effort.

the main problem is the lack of developed narrative in the last what 10 years if not more? tell me for how long how we been in a whale ship? not rage just honest answers i really feel sad for the old fans i just finished the anime and the manga like 1 week ago i feel it rich and whit potential but the mangaka is tired but here are u waiting

Yeah, I could tell you just don't care about the work of an artist, you just finished "1 week" ago. You should be more respectful with things you don't understand instead of complaining like a child.

There's no hype. HxH is one of the best shonen of all time, period. If you can't see it maybe you are the problem.

i know its good its too good that is too sad that it hasnt finished and it started 25 years ago look what oda did and he has some hiatus too but this one is way too much and if u cant recognize that then u have a problem

This is a pretty interesting video. I never had a problem with the narrator but when i joined some HxH communities I discovered that it's a recurring topic

tbh i enjoyed the addition of the narrator; some things can indeed be inferred from context alone, but the narrator serves the purpose of giving the viewer a definitive answer to the question 'what is happening here'. there are certain moments that are only more significant because the narrator is there to give it weight. be it the staircase scene, killua defecting from the plan to kill those two soldier ants to help out ikalgo, the chairman going kamikaze; without narration they might lack a certain heft. their overall significance is enhanced due to someone elaborating on it

Yeah, it's just a narrative tool and Togashi does an amazing work with it. The example I always use is when the narrator tells us about the time that it takes for Terpsichora to attack. Without that information you'd just assume that Netero slapped Pitou and never think about it. But the dilation of time comes a bunch of times from the start to the very end of the palace invasion. It's just genius, it's a key piece of information in the whole Netero vs Meruem as well.

Though to be accurate, the tributes were for the series, not the author. That would be accurate for those that mentioned him specifically. Which is why I'm glad Togashi didn't write a message.
