Wow thats a very nice cover! But cat WTF?

I like the cover a lot, but I don't understand the cat. Kurapika with an owl makes sense, since he's the "wise one" of the group, when the four of them are together. Leorio with a fish is weird. And the cat is weird. I think a boar would've been more suitable, IMO.

Though, TBH, I would've loved to see a Ging and Pariston cover. Maybe I'll get my wish someday!

Ging has endless curiousity much like Gon.

Killua = Danger life Wolf
Kurapika = Wise like Owl
Leorio = Has a heart of gold - Goldfish?

Once a cat has found something to play with, he doesn't let go until he gets bored, I suppose that's the meaning of it, plus the curiosity thing of course!

I found what Kokuryuu said in the volume covers thread in the Otaku Shoten section to be quite interesting:

I think is a reference to the story of why the cat isn't in the chinese zodiac (the Zodiac 12 in the manga). You can find something about it in this article from Wikipedia

Ging is after all something of an outsider compared to the rest of the group, not to mention he left.

I'm not sure; that's just what it says on the cover: クライング・メルエム ver. (kuraingu meruemu ver.)

Amazon reviewer says it covers volumes 25-27.

I still need to purchase volume 8 before I get 9 ><

Just bought Treasure v10.

It goes through chapter 291 - 318, effectively finishing the Chimera Ant arc. Shueisha considers the next arc to still be the Chimera Ant arc though.

Treasure v11 will feature "Greatest Ging" on the bookcover.

I think it's likely that we'll see Beyond's group or maybe Pariston facing Ging with Kurapika and Leorio floating around in the background (since they've been gone for so long!).

I really, really want to see the next cover feature the five calamities but I know that won't happen

A cover similar to Vol 32 but with Pariston sparkling .

Since they've been gone so long, I'd love to see Kurapika and Leorio with a couple of the zodiacs. Or with Beyond. But I really want to see those two on it.

Ging was already on the latest cover, so I doubt he'll make an appearance on this upcoming one.
