Hello, first post but I read Mangahelpers for many years (I'm french so sorry for the English).

I think that this is a filler at the beginning of episode 76, with Kaito who will attack Gon and Killua, because :

- Kaito has a cape when he shoots;
- Gon and Killua have the same clothes as the episode 75, (they change clothes in NGL) ;
- When Killua protects Gon, the ground on which they are is similar to those of episode 75 ;
- The attack seems like gunshots ;
- Gon seems unprepared for the attack.

yup it's a filler ..but i don't think it's kaito
kaito is not that kind of characters attacking recklessly

i think it's probably an ant . there is what appears to be a huge shadow

the clown comment something like he always do
then the weapon appear

he will do all that and won't recognize that they are two kids..think again

If you look carefully you see that something try to attack Gon and Killua but Kite raises his rifle to save. So I think that a wild animal will appear to attack which will be reminiscent of Gon attacked as a child and Kite save.

Also does anyone else notice Kite and Ging stand on the cliff looking at the valley? I love this idea of more filler to expand the story of Kite!!

Eh, for filler, nothing seems out of character to me. I'm fine with it. (I haven't seen the video, so I thought it was Killua saving Gon later on in NGL).

I'm ready for any Kaito flashbacks, even as fillers. Bring 'em on!

that's certainly a flash back.. when kito will tell gon that he found ging

I think i know. Killua saving Gon from... Kaito's shoot.
1. He wearing cloak at the begining. Hew wears it when he pick up the rifle, and next he taking off. So Gon&Kil meet Kaito, he shoot Gon, Killua saves Gon, Kaito says "OH GON ITS YOU SORRY C:C:C:C and then he taking off the cloak and we have manga material. Personally that makes no sense, but...
