I was a scuba diver when I was in uni C: my department was biology that focused on marine, so I took a lot of marine subjects like Diving Technique and Coral Biology (but I think they changed the curriculum. no longer marine). it was really fun

I'm awful at breastsroke, and always found it uncomfortable for some reason. but really should try to get better at it someday.

But there's always some little group that uses it as an excuse to just do something, that's why I thought maybe at your place there were some teens like that too.

But overall Halloween doesn't exist here outside of the international shows on TV at night (I do use it as an excuse to watch spooky things at night though).

Last year and part of this one I had the inner rule of not changing it in less than 15 days, no matter if I got tired of the set I still waited a bit. Now when finding great art everywhere I can't help but change them each week, trying to endure it for almost two at least, but the curiosity to see how these fanarts would look as avy&set wins me.

I'm trying to go back to use sets on a longer time though, I'm really changing them almost every day.

hmm I think it's because of cultural, religious, seasonal, and regional differences. since we are close to India and China, we are more influenced by Indosphere and Sinosphere than Western culture. from cuisine, culture, clothing, to language. the major religion here is islam, so halloween is not widely celebrated (i think it's a christian holiday?). we have 6 official religions: islam, protestant, catholic, buddha, hindu, and confucius. on our calendar, there are so many holidays from those religions, we even have 4 new year holidays: islamic, christian (international), chinese, and hindu haha. besides, there's no autumn in here so halloween would be different. and since there's so many tribes, each of them has their own harvest celebration.
