Other If you could have ONE superpower, what would it be?

who told you i need to see you? if you move at the speed of light, there is no way for me to see you with just my normal eyes. However, if I have the power of gravity, I don't need to see you at all. First, 1 centimeter around my body, i will make the gravity to negative or zero, your attack will totally have no damage to me. Second, the area out of my 1centimeter around my body i will increase the gravity up to 100x - 200x (don't need more than this) the one on Earth. Basic principle of biology and chemisty, your body or anything on the this world make up of molecule. When you move at the speed of light, it doesn't matter how strong you are, or how hard of any metal or subject that currently exist on not yet exist, you and subject all become molecule. when molecule move, they defense on two factors: heat and gravity. Heat will increase speed, gravity reduce and break it. With 100x - 200x, even with the speed of light, you will become unable to move if you not death already because with 100x of Earth gravity most of molecule on Earth or on our solar system will break, those that survice with clump together, thus unable to move (this is about the same with the pressure when you make gasoline and tar. Gasoline is those molecule that break, tar is those molecule that clump together). with a good control of gravity from 1 - 100x even if you meet a person that control air, he still can't do anything to you because you can trap air molecule around you. With 200x, i can't think of anything that can survice. Time and dimision can't barely escape this but they can't do anything. if they tried something, add gravity into that 200x gravity field, that is where trouble start, mini black hole. you know what happen if it can't be control.

Well anyway that is a cool ability. I wrote original fiction and one of the character i come up is the earth shaker alchemist (she can control earth, and her second ability is to change density and mass which affected gravity)

Anyway if you have such an ability, you sure will be invincible, however who control time will win. Since it not matter if u have gravitional power, but your human body will not last. And I believe someone already post about time control power.

i'd like the ability to control time. Id be able to go forward and back in time and stop time. I would be unstoppable

Anyway, that a gravity control is a cool power.

How about opening dimesion (with it you can go to the ONe piece world or naruto's world or back in time, etc)

i understand your point, but you don't get it. the ultimate point or move of gravity control is black hole. Read your science or ask your science professor (or teacher if you in high school) about the black hole, black hole has super density (with 1 millimetter as the size it weights more than 100x the weight of the sun, and i think - don't remember correctly -the sun weight about 3x the weight of the Earth). The reason it has super density because it consume everything, not even time (past, present, or future), space or dimension can escape it wrap.

It is true that human body won't last forever, but so is your in front of black hole.

PS: oh ya, i forgot, you can't stop black hole without the gravity control ability. If he try to kill me with time (by go back in time or something like that) even if i die, the black hole will continue (because it still exist in the dimension where i already created it). it will continue to consume everything. it will still able to kill him doesn't matter where he go to because everything will disappear. Therefore, his only option is never challenge the person who control gravity.

No need for science teacher, the concept of gravity is easy to understand, base on mr. einstein's theory or just plain definition of Gravity. mass attracted mass, the more massess the stronger attaction the more density, the more masses the more atraction and continue on.

Simple! Anyway, what good is that (impossible to created a mini black hole). and A big black hole kill everybody included the user himself.

Anyway super power suck, to open door to dimesion is quite fun, and the ability to forget (it like each day you a different person) is also fun. The ability to have fun regardless is also fun. Anyway the power to
have fun is the greatest, since boredom killed everything.

that would be a waste. Invisible can be obtain by other power as well; it is not have to be directly. For example, the power to move at the speed of light, when you move at the speed of light, you will be invisible because no one or camera can see you, just as no one or camera able to see the proton of light, even if you use the infrared. The good thing about this is you don't need to be naked as well as obtain kung fu power because in kung fu world, speed is the king. If you want fun power (literaly), I would go with power to make smile on everyone (of course, it will not force them to smile but make the smile from bottom of their heart. For example, power of joke, power of make manga, power to cure others, power of kindness, etc..). Everyone happy will also make you happy. If only you happy while everyone else is not, soon or later you will feel bad because it will make you feel that you live on the miserble of other people.

I was reading new mutants and I saw this chick that had this power of Pheromones that could make people do things she suggested.. that seemed pretty cool, I could be the best lawyer ever, and be married to 3 supermodels.. but then I could never leave their sides or they would discover I am controlling them.

Just knowing everything without having to learn it. Having all the events in the universe sent to your mind and locked up for later use. So if you met a girl you liked you could find something in common (or make something up.) Or blackmail who ever you want, or just become a scientist who combines all the research in the world to cure AIDS.

with omniwisdom (is that even a word?) you would know everything including the alarming rate of accidents that happen everyday. this would probably scare you out of doing so many things such as riding in a car or such. this only works if omniwisdom only covers all the information that exists up to the present point in time. but wouldn't it be inferiorating having to take in so much stuff all the time? every day would mean you'd need to know what every single organism on the planet for that day. sounds kind of boring

Just like so many other people, I'd like power over time. Slow, stop, speed up, maybe turn back to an extent. Although I can see how turning back time would be an addictive thing and would drive you crazy going back again and again to try fix something, and it's go against the flow of nature, etc, so maybe not that far.

Maybe it wasn't clear that I said locked up, I wanted to have more of a ultimate research power where I had everything stored in my conscience (this is more of a mystical power then scientific) and if I wanted a paticular piece of data I would just have to think about knowing it.
