I don’t think Laxus’s showing against Kirin puts him in BDSK tier, well I don’t think they are at the same level as I’m convinced Kirin is the strongest of the 4 and Haku is there, below.

He forced Kirin to be serious, and Kirin was still not able to defeat him. I think that's enough to know that the gap between them is not big. Haku is BDSK tier, Wendy too, same for Laxus and everyone on his tier.
Sadly Laxus alone will defeat Kirin in their rematch, it would have been dope to see Laxus & Jellal fighting together against Kirin.
