I'm glad it's finally happening. This series is about to get a huge boost in fans. The anime is hitting hard every where I see it. I can't wait to see more people talking about it. The last time I got to participate in spreading a series this good and worthy of popularity was back when Death Note first hit state side.

I know, I remember when not many people knew what I was talking about. It's great to see the popularity now that the anime has come out :-D. Definetely deserves it. This will be a classic among manga & anime for years. I just hope it will come out on dvd/bluray so I can buy it asap.

I love the popularity myself, though it's interesting to see how much parodies are made for a series that is supposed to be pretty depressing. Guess we find humor in sorrow, huh?

This manga is good, but save it for a moment. I really hate this old-fashioned "Oh some real shit is going to happen!" storyline, yea all plot is like that I know but this one is too explicit.

Lots of crying, screaming, shouting and howling... I am a first class citizen and intellectual you know, if I fight, I fight like Annie. The emotions in this manga look awfully stupid, that is why I hate seeing it everywhere and make parodies or something, even though I seem to enjoy it reading alone, lol.

Isn't "Popularity" a "threat" for a shonen of this "deviant type" (to use SnK terms)?

I really hope not. Let Isayama work "quietly alone". I can't stand in a possible future this series become more "shonenesque" than it is now. It will be too much (for me). That's why I HATE a lot the censorship on the anime. Less Gore = More Spectators = More Popularity = More Threat for this manga to became something "unrecognizable".

Let SnK remain a Deviant Type Shonen thanks ;D

They are always just short of saying it. "Oh some real shit is about to go down." The fact that they deliberately leave out scenes where they anticipated what were just shown is annoying too. It's like, "Oh you had no idea? Well, here's how we did." xD

Ideally, for this kind of manga, it's best not to go through spoilers. If you're going for the anime only, then it's best that you REALLY DON'T READ SPOILERS FROM THE MANGA. XDDD. You'd lose the excitement once you find out who's who. XDDDD

I bet you thinked this is like some "super saiyajin" transformation and so on right? Give a try to the manga. If you like HxH probably you will like a lot SnK too.
