the time seems to be off on the forums. i can change the hour as it suits me but the minutes are off by about half an hour too. also adjusting the time in the user CP only seems to apply to the forums and not to the home page-- any way to change the main page?

For the portal, use this. http://mangahelpers.com/mkportal/admin.php?mode=saved However, you can onlu plus 2 hours and minus two hours the maximun.

As for the time in the forum, you can actually type in decimal points like 10.5 or 11.2 to make it more accurate.

It's kinda like that now just moved to the left area in seperate locations. I can create a news post area that says which translations and such have been released and put it at the top for you to know what has been updated as well. Or you could just check the bottom area to see what has been uploaded. In the downloads area (it shows the 10 most recent uploads)

Thanks anyway but don't worry about it NJT, once it moved I found fairly easily. It was just that I like that particular location because it minimized the clicking and scrolling involved. When you get right down to it I am just being lazy.

Look for a signature you like and upload it in http://imageshack.us/
Look for the code for "hotlink for forums(1)". Copy the whole code and paste it in the signature area.

Thanks, just one more question, should the image for my signature be a specific size cause I realize now that it takes up a lot of space. It is a very vertically long pic.

Yeah, it should be a bit smaller (takes up my whole screen). I suggest nothing really bigger than 700x200 (700 pixels wide, 200 pixels high). I think this would be more of a better size:

Nice work and recent updates to the site; I was especially pleased to see that 'Discussions' was now the first link for Naruto on the lefthand side, too

A couple suggestions..

Posting - it'd be nice if, instead of just showing the raw total of posts above the user's avatar, it showed which post this was out of the total posts (for instance, this should be "post 3/".. however many I've posted by the time you're reading this). This is of nearly no importance, except it'd be fun to be able to read through old posts and see "ah, that's when so-and-so was a n00b." Whatever, it's minor, easy, and could be interesting.

Random art link - link to the actual picture, or at least the page of the index with the picture that was shown! There's nothing more annoying than seeing a tiny version of what seems like an awesome Sasuke-in-a-bathrobe piece of fan art and having to flip through a bunch of ones you've seen 1000 times to find it. Ok, there are worse things - this is just another very minor annoyance.

While I'm at it, why does clicking on the title at the top left of each page take you to /forum and not just /index.php?

Again, each of these is minor - the site is very useful, with addictive content. Thanks!

As for the 3/xxx posts, you can always view the date, can't you? XD Besides, it will get very long and strechty if you use the 2/xx method. 2/10 is fine but 3251/5846 is long. XD I don't think that it will be too practical to use it. Also, we all know that the older the thread is, the older the posts are. Just dig into some of the older threads and you can definitely find all those "n00bish" posts that you wish to find.

Proooobably, but it looks to me like it wouldn't be wider than the space provided. It just seems kind of redundant to have the same exact piece of information displayed at every post. But, like I said, it is certainly minor, and I could in fact go by the dates.

It could also tie into a user's history a bit more clearly; suppose you have 100/200. You could have the 100 be a link to the list of the user's posts, focusing at 100 (so you can take a look at other posts they made at that time). From what I can tell, one would have to click on the user name, then click on 'recent posts', etc.

Is it currently possible to get updates (via rss feed or email) when some set of your buddies posts a message? There are some folks on here I'd love to just be notified when they post (especially when they post a translation ).

Another question - why is the current practice to change the name of a thread from 'predictions' to 'discussion'? Why not just (1) make the prediction thread read-only once the chapter comes out and (2) create a new discussion thread? Or, if nothing else, have a link to which page corresponds to the point in time *after* the chapter was released. It makes going back through old predictions/discussions rather cumbersome.

What joke picture, btw? I keep pretty much everything by Shannaro, so I'm sure I could post it here as well.

Should have been around chapter 260-262. It was a joke picture of Gaara thinking to himself. It had him and naruto side by side. It went something like,

"First I was alone and so was he. Then I was still alone and he had friends. Then he became a pimp, and I got hit by a truck"
The text was somethign like that. It was like a fake manga page and the bottom part had a picture of Naruto being hugged by Sakura and Hinata and the other pic had Garra sitting there and getting run over by a semi-truck. It was hilarious but now I can't find it. I have the other joke pages, such as the one with them trying to extract a bijuu from Sakura, but I can't find this one. I appreciate any help you can offer, thanks!
