Introduction Thread - Part 2

[Strawman]

Hi everyone. I've read manga for a while, but I've only recently decided to try and participate in the Edited Manga community. I'm an amateur writer, and I plan on posting some scripts in the amateur manga section.

[fogdark]

Hi there everyone, I'm Francisco and I'm from ...um...several places i guess...let me explain. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, lived there until i was bout 16 years old, then i moved to New York city, USA, and i lived there until i finished High School, after which i moved yet again this time to Spain, which is where i am at right now.
So, manga/anime. As a kid in Latin America, my favorite anime where the popular ones of the time, Captain Tsubasa, Slayers, etc. Yet, It was Saint Seiya, that introduced me the the world of Japanese animation. I remember around that time a had a t-shirt (lol at the change of topic!), it depicted a drawing of a kid...with a tail,... and spiky hair, ..who carried a pole... ring any bells? well it should, but at the time i didn't know who that strange kid was, i didn't even know he appeared in a anime. But then, Dragon Ball came to my country, and my eyes were opened, i had found my favorite series of all time. Period.
Right now im a avid fan of manga, and some animes, but i prefer manga now.
My favorites include the big three, One Piece (The best manga there is right now), Naruto (a close second), and Bleach (it was awesome a while ago, yet now....., it seems to be picking up some steam though)
Other manga i like are Fairy Tail, Negima, Kenichi, Air Gear, ZKC, FMA, Saint Seiya Lost Canvas, and a few more...
I not a big writer on forums, i'll write once in a while, but im more of a lurker, if you know what i mean.
Sorry for any mistakes in my writing, english is not my native language, and its been a while since i left NY, so i haven't practiced as much as i want.
Thanks for reading....thats if some one actually does....

[WARLORD77]

Hi all

Hi all,

Am new to this Forum, a Fan of Captain Tsubasa series.

Welcome me pls^^

[Klaud543]

I'm Miranda (Klaud543) and my favorite manga would have to be either Naruto or D. Gray Man. I would be watching them online but the DGM anime ended (I think) a little after Headquarters was attacked and as far as I know Naruto is behind in the anime. I absolutely hate school and I'm a member on Runescape so I guess that's a hobby. I love chocolate and popcorn but since I just got braces really recently I can't eat popcorn. My favorite color is red but before that it was brown (with another color) and before brown it was purple. I never really found out when DGM 191 is coming out, can someone tell me? Well, unless it comes out by the time someone sees this post.

[BulaNe]

Hello there,

my name is Milan and I come from Czech republic. I'm attending last year of a high school and I plan to continue my studies on economical-focussed college.

I've been reading manga since last year's Easter holidays, when I realized that Naruto anime is actually based on manga. Since then I've slowly started to pick another series to read and watch (Bleach, Vagabond). Recently I got into it pretty much and picked other series like Gamaran, Psyren or D.Gray-Man and my plan-to-read list is growing kinda quickly.

My fauvorite is Vagabond, which I find awesome. I've never heard of Musashi before and I actually found the manga on OM while I was searching for some title with enough chapters to occupy me for few days (lucky pick I guess ). But generally I like comedy, shonen a supernatural (best combined) which I find really easy to read. That's why I kinda struggle with Death Note since there really isn't much to laugh at.

I like listening to Drum'n'Bass music and love sitcoms (Red Dwarf, BBT, HIMYM).

Oh... and my fauvorite character is Kimimaro

Good night

[Ssk]

Hello everybody,
I'm new in the forum so I pass by the case "Introduction". Here the introduce :

First, I am and I live in France so this forum is more to share with members discussing the manga, an opportunity for me to learn English language.

My nickname comes from my favorite characters to Naruto, I let you find out ! I am sixteen (birth in January) and I like the sport as boxe (English), body-building, the stamina and the tennis (although I have it make that little time).

I also love everything related to computers (graphic design, computer graphics, clean, drawing, (x) html, css, SQL, colorizing, etc...
On the other hand, I like reading, whether manga or novel or science fiction.

Concerning manga, I read Naruto, but also Bleach, Hajime no Ippo (anime), One piece (only 22 volumes), Death note and that's all.

Well, see you soon !

[BozoDel]

Hi, I'm BozoDel, from Brazil, 20 years old, I speak Portuguese, English, a liiittle bit French and a liiittle bit Esperanto. I don't read that much manga... I like stuff like Berserk... not much of a shounen fan.

Right now, I'm listening to Jimi Hendrix and eating what my dad calls a "fake pizza".

Actually, I came here to look for people to work on my new secret and alternative project. It's not really secret, I just wanted to have something to show before talking about it... but whatahell! I'm translating Brazilian comics to English! Is there space for stuff like that in these forums?

I really need a native English speaker to do the proofreading. Translators, editors, they'll come with time, but I need someone to proofread.

Well... that's it!

[wolfrequiem]

Hello everyone! I am a recent Clemson graduate from South Carolina, USA, with a degree in Japanese Communication! I found this website through google when I was searching for manga that needed translators. Unfortunately, I haven't found a job yet that uses my Japanese language abilities , but while I continue to search, I don't want to loose my Japanese skills, so I came here!

My hobbies include tap dance, guitar (both acoustic and electric), chess, video games, reading, writing, drawing and painting. I am currently playing Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Commando, and am trying to earn 1,000,000 bolts for the Ryno II weapon . I am currently reading a book called Mister B. Gone by Clive Barker. This is the first book of his that I've read, and now I want to read his other stories!

よろしくお願いします！
