Hello! I'm silverw0lf! Been a frequent guest here at Mangahelpers since around late 2008 and finally decided to sign up. I'm a big fan of Bleach and Naruto though I enjoy reading/watching other manga/anime as well. My hobbies include eating different types of food (big fan of Japanese and Italian cuisine), playing video games (PS2... still saving up for PS3), watching TopGear UK and the Military Channel, occasionally running, and reading news about world events.

Hi! I'm Arcadia, and I'm so new, i don't have a profile picture yet! (I have a hard time making up my mind). I am a huge shojo manga fan. Sometimes the plotlines are so...mushy-but i enjoy reading them anyways because the craziness makes me laugh.

My hobby is drawing manga. I am working on one right now for fun. It's a romantic comedy/drama story, and I've been having a good time with it. The mangas I enjoy reading right now are Otoman and Full House Kiss.

I spend most of my time doing artwork, but I enjoy writing and reading classic literature as well. Glad to meet everyone!

Hello. My name is Nukumi.

I'm now old enough that I don't want to admit my age anymore.. haha. I'm never satisfied by one thing for very long and am constantly moving from one thing to the next, but the one thing that's never left me is my love of manga.

I also do translations, of anything really if you request it nicely enough (meaning a giant-ass scan) 8D I've been translating things for.. too many years now. I wouldn't claim to be any good at it though I've been criticized as having too much free will in my translations, but I'm under the impression that the meaning is what's important, so that's what I stick with for the most part. Literal translations always feel so stiff and remind me of the fact that what I'm reading wasn't initially English, so I try to make the people reading feel like it was meant to be read in the language they're reading. ...However I do fail a lot. Japanese just doesn't always come across the way I'd like it to. :<

Initially I started translating manga I had lying around (Ranma/Inu-yasha), but I found they were waaaay too hard for me at the time. I barely knew anything at all as I was only in my 1st or 2nd year of Japanese in college. So I stepped back for a bit, and when I got back into translating I ended up translating magazine articles, as you can see in the link here ->clicky< - the older the post, the older the translation.. and therefore the worse they get as you go on.. haha. ^^;
[side note : all those translations are for a pop band in Japan, so I doubt anyone here would have any interest in the content, however I always posted the original Japanese and sometimes a re-sized scan of the article, so at the very worst, it could be useful to someone learning Japanese]

I have a large range of interest when it comes to manga.. I've been into One Piece, Kimi ni Todoke, Dengeki Daisy, Naruto, KHR... Usually for me, it's more about the art, then the story, so I can sway either way : shojo or shonen. I've also drawn manga-style stuff since high school, but lets not get into that. 8D

I'll be trying to find my place here to fit in. I've been trying to get the formatting right, so I can submit a request for placement as a translator.

I've been lurking these boards as a guest for some time now, and have only recently got the guts to sign up and show my face (That being the Mizukage's...?). Anyway, I'm studying B-tec and Art as well as Humanities and such for my GCSE's. I am interested in various manga such as Naruto, Bleach and One Piece, as well as anime such as Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, Durarara and many more.

I'm very enthusiastic about sketching various characters from manga (Mainly Naruto and now Durarara), but that doesn't mean to say I'm any good at it >_<.

I also have a hyped interest in video games like MW2, Borderlands, Final Fantasy series, L4D series as well as various anime games like Ultimate Ninja, Budokai Tenkaichi series as well as Blaz Blue and some Gundam games. I hope I get to know most of you guys very well and... happy Noodles ^_______^

I'm Magnus, from Morroco, 18 years old (well, 19 next month to be more accurate), and like everyone here i'm a huge fan of mangas (mainly Bleach, OP, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter, Bakuman, Gantz, and some others...)
I've been coming here without registering for weeks, until the last chapter of Gantz for some reason convinced me to do it.

Also i'm quite addicted to video games even though these days, i only play Bleach HTS 6.
Somewhy i feel the need to say that Shadow of the Colossus may be my fave game of all times. Just had to mention it.
Besides i'm also an old and big fan of all what's related to Pokemons (the only fandom which fanfics interest me) ; i'm waiting for HeartGold to come.
Oh, and i was about to forget mentionning that i'm in love with anything related to mechs (Super Robot series ftw)

I call myself Kanna Rei, aged 22, live in Germany and am a poor student with too much work and not enough fun. Seriously, playing games/watching anime/reading manga 15 hours a day is not nearly enough.

I got here after reading about this site in the news of Valkyrie Edited Mangas, for which I translated the Valkyrie Profile 4 Koma seen in the sidebar. But I generally consider myself more of a freelancing translator, having done the english translations of "Lyrical Death Note" and "Yasagure Fate-chan to Kimagure Nanoha-san" for gib (not in the local database) as well.

I am quite whimsical about working. If the project seems interesting I will take a look at it and perhaps even do it in a reasonable amount of time. But seeing as I have (supposedly) been working on a tranlation for "Angelical Pendulum" for who knows how long while still on page 15... perhaps lazy is a better word than whimsical?

My name's Marcos and I'm from Brazil. toguro Max (yep, first letter is not capital) is how I'm known in the Internet.
I'm not neither famous nor wise, but I do tend not to do dumb things.
In the past, I've started a lot of projects, but noone was finished due to computer crashes and stuff...
I'm 28 now, and still like games, anime and manga a lot. Even though I've been downloading "fan scans" (how Edited Manga was known ages ago) since the Love Hina project, I buy a lot of original (I mean, the ones that are released in my Country), even if I've read all the series from a Edited Manga source.

Well, that's pretty much it, I guess You all won't hear from me a lot >-p
