Discussion Is Doflamingo Dead, or How did he Survive?

Did Kyros kill Doflamingo in chapter 743? It is hard to imagine he did, that seems a little too easy a death for the arc boss. If anyone disagrees, and thinks Doflamingo is dead, make your case. If anyone thinks he is alive, how do you think he survived?

This topic is getting almost as much speculation as the "block D winner" bs around Christmas time. Lol.
There are a lot of "meh" viable theories to why he could be alive. For one Pica seemed to disappear right as he was being attacked. We have no idea what Pica is capable of. Oda wouldn't starve his readers of a fight they've been long awaiting for. Doflamingo dying is way too anticlimactic.
The Law theory could work but I don't know why Law would help Doflamingo unless Doflamingo's survival is crucial to his plans.. I doubt he's on Doflamingo's "side" as some have suggested. I wouldn't be too enthusiastic about joining some asshole who put 3 bullets in me.

Law is probably involved somehow. Maybe he realized he needs Doflamingo alive after their conversation, maybe he figured out that Kyros is not strong enough against Doflamingo's Haki.

Crazy theory: Kyros is using Kikoku which appearance is slightly different for some reason, and the sword is the Ope Ope no Mi user, not Law.

It would seem unlikely that DD's demise would be so simple. I tend to think it's going to come down to an intervention by either Pica's ability, considering we know little of the extent of his, or DD's DF either through a manipulation of Law somehow or he's just going to whip his head back onto his shoulders. There are some obvious questions about each theory, but they would seem to be the likeliest possibilities.

The blade doesn't appear to be Law's, and we've seen Law's use of techniques with the Ope Ope no Mi beyond his use of Kikoku.

It's just so sad that Oda will use this to show off even more how much Doflamingo is hax, if it is his DF that did this. Of course the Law theory fits with the way Law uses it and the way Dofla's head was chopped seems to be the case as well.

Well I still want Kyros to be a good match up for Dofla, he seems not to waste time when he confronts people.

Maybe like Dofla "cuts" he can "cut" himself with no injures attached?

DD can't be dead by now. He's like the Uberboss from this arc and he's going down in 1 little scene? I mean even Ceaser's "last battle" was longer than this.

Could this possible me a foreshadowing "mock death" for Doflamingo so we see how much of an uproar his future death might cause? I mean all the sneaky shady deals, all the connections, all the crimes he has done, maybe Oda will showcase how Doflamingo being gone effects the world, same as how WB's death effected a whole era even.

Dofla's expression when his head is on the floor is different from the moment Kyros decapitates him. He isn't dead.

It's not like the muscles of your head stop working the moment you behead the person. Cut of the head of a chicken and it keeps on moving, running.

He was actually unable to do anything, his was a toy. But same as before when he did got turned into a toy this time it was building up inside him, so he had to rage on Dofla. We can get from this that speed is his forte.

And that means I want Dofla alive so he can face his sins and gets judged by the very hands he tortured and made miserable.

I think it's more than just speed to him, even though Rebecca and Riku also have a bit of speed, I think he has a lot of power too.

Still, I expect we can see some one saving Doflamingo, I dunno if he should be allowed to fix this himself, would seem a bit op XD

A friend of mine has a theory that the Doflamingo we've been seeing so far is only a puppet and the real one has yet to be shown. I hope that's not the case. I'd hate for all the build up on how powerful Doflamingo is to be wasted.

Yes he is dead and and I know it's was too easy but that's what make it so sweet. All that talk and DD is nothing but a weakling who lost to Kryos. Then again Kryos is no joke either becus he knows Haki. Plus I want the story to progress faster so we can see Sabo's face...so we see who will become the next nakama...so we can move on to the Big Mom fight. I vote Barto, Viola, and Sabo (why not?) to be new Nakama, LOL!

I think DD got a technique closely related to yuyu hakusho 's elder brother Toguro that could move his heart anywhere into his body.

Or pica saved him somehow.

Who says that string can't be a Logia type? There was a filler type that was paper. I get the feeling that Doflamingo was merely making it look like a Paramecia type and that will be revealed in the next chapter.
