How else would the original plan which Tarmiel mucked up have worked unless you could remove commandments from a still living if defeated host?

The plan was to defeat him and have gowther uses his powers to manipulate his mind and have him willingly give up the commandments IIRC. Or something to that effect.

Yeah, sadly he is not coming back. He diesn't have more revelance in the plot so he is better that way. Nakaba apparently also liked Derieri's design yet he didn't treat her exactly well either...
