Naruto: Is Kishi still in the "Driver seat"?
Hi all, I do realize that the question might sound provocative but is something that is bothering me for some time and I would like to discuss with you and hear your opinion about.
Having followed Naruto for quite some time I cannot stop the feeling I have about the fact that the happenings of latest chapters are "forced", looking to me like Kishi is trying to visualize or better put in drawings somebody's else plot.
Several "aspects" of the manga have lead me to this suspect. Here they are, bare with me a little longer
1) Tobi = Madara: I believe that Tobi at the beginning was not ment to be such a "powerful" character less to be Madara. When Tobi appeared in the manga he was pictured as an annoying,almost goofy guy.
Now if it was ment to be from the beginning Madara, why would he act so strangely?
Some would say that it is to disguise his true identity.
I object first of all that apparently some of the fellow black clad Akatsuki knew he is Madara and secondly (and mostly) why act "stupid"? Madara just had to sit quite in a corner and do nothing to show himself or his true power. No Akatsuki was/is showing his true power to the other (basically I guess because they really do not trust each other) so why the need to play dumb?
I mean, in all the stories, the guy that does not want to be seen, just sits quite in a corner, here we have somebody who is doing everything and anything to draw attention to.
On top of that it comes hard to believe that somebody with such strong personality as Madara (who faught the first, left Konoha since he could not stand to stay there as "defeated", took his brother eye, etc etc) would just act so "stupid".
2) Itachi: throughout the manga Itachi has been pictured in 2 very distinct ways. He was a genius amongst the ninjas, and he was a first class bad ass.
Now all of the sudden we have Itachi who lost with his brother, which can happen, but he looses in a way that leaves lots of unanswered questions, such as how come he looked to be not at his best?
Besides this, now it seems (at least from latest spoilers) that Itachi was not that evil, that he actually used his fight with Sasuke to train little brother and actually give him some "powers".
It means than his looking wery during the fight was just a facade to trick "Aloe Man" who was watching the fight? Sound a little forced to me.
3) Characters "power up": so far people in the manga have increased their abilities through training an fights.
Whilst I can agree with the fact that we cannot always see them train or fight you have to expect that some "power" up happen behind the scene and would be justified/explained (in a conversation for instance), I find it little too much the way how lately they acquire new abilities.
Lets start with the (In)famous sharingan eye of the Uchiha clan.
We were told that there is a second level of it, called MS and that this is acquired through spilling blod of your relative/family or best friend.
Than contraddiction was presented to us in the shape of Kakashi MS who, so far we know, has not killed any relative/family or dear friend and we still do not know how he managed it.
Sounds little forced to me.
Now we have (again based on latest spoiler) apparently the acquisition by divine interference. Meaning Sasuke has gained some power just because Itachi has apparently given them to him. At the base of this "miracle" we are coming up with theory on blod spilled in the eye, pain caused by killing his brother, Itachi flicking him on the forehead, etc etc.
Fact is we do not know, another forced plot....
