A friend gave me that idea during a conversation back them...
Itachi is better on Genjutsu. He can use a Genjutsu from just a finger, etc.
Sasuke is better on Ninjutsdu, having techniques like Kirin, etc.
As such, Sasuke is better at the Sharingan ninjutsu (Amaterasu) than Itachi. Sasuke can use Amaterasu to an extend Itachi couldn't, moving it at his will, etc.
(Now, each eye of the Sharing has an technique. One is Amaterasu, the other is Tsukuyomi. In other words, one is the "Ninjutsu" eye, and the another is the "Genjutsu" eye. And this would explain why the eye position of them is switched, much like being right-handed, etc.)
Sasuke seemed to form an "Amaterasu Sasuno'o" at some point. And his Susano'o also seems more darker toned than Itachi's. On the other hand, Itachi's Amaterasu has an "Genjutsu sword". In other words, Sasuke has an "Ninjutsu Susano'o" and Itachi the "Genjutsu Susano'o".
What do you think?
