A quick(?) context,
Generally, youkai's "job" are to oppose/kill/eat humans/other beings. Letty Whiterock, a winter youkai, has been around for so long that she's getting tired seeing the death of living beings, let alone killing them. Long long ago, there was a time where Letty tried to cover the whole world in winter. Due to this, she's been called "the heartless queen of winter". But before she completed her plan, she realized something and changed her mind. Thus, the world's season return to normal. However, Yuuka Kazami (she seems to both admire and hate Letty), a flower youkai, firmly believes that to oppose/kill humans or other beings is the true nature of youkai. Yuuka angrily told that to Letty and one of her line is below

何時からかあなたはその本質に逆らってばかりじゃないの！！

So, is this sentence means
This:
"Were you not the one who keeps on defying that true nature all along!!?"

or something like this?:
"Don't keep defying that true nature!!"

Also, anyone familiar with "舎密"? I looked it up in dictionary and it says it is an old term for "chemistry". Does this term have any other meaning beside "chemistry"?

So, is this sentence means

or something like this?:
"Don't keep defying that true nature!!"

First one sounds good to me, unless I'm missing something.

Wikipedia says it's a transliteration of the Dutch word for chemistry that fell out of fashion in the late 1800s. It's probably just meant to sound old-timey and esoteric.

Tough Natural-log and mote's interpretation is almost correct, let me add some information.

JP 1:何時から か/2:あなた　は/3:その 本質 に /4:逆らって ばかり/5 じゃ ないの
JP 1:いつから なのか (私は知らないが)/2:あなた は/3:その　本質　に/ 4:逆らって ばかり/ 5:では　ないですか？
lit 1: (Though/But)From what time (I don't know that)/2:you[subjective]/3:to the true nature/4: rebel always/5: aren't you (or am I wrong?)

And my draft proposal might be,
(Although I don't know) since what time, you've been always rebeling against the youkai's nature, am I wrong?

Thanks! I actually adapt "since what time" to "all along" so that the sentence will sound better. Though not exactly the same, they're more or less have the same meaning, so I thought.
