Discussion Jump Festa

Most years Oda teases something grand, whether for hype or he truly intends on following through with it. More often than not, it falls short of what we were expecting. So with this one, I'll just be happy to see Shanks appear, I'm not expecting tons and tons of chapters with him.

Wow, so after 23 years, we will get to see Shanks for more than 2 panels? Incredible

Also, does that confirms Luffy will get a new bounty soon? Every single time Shanks appeared in the manga, it aligned with a bounty increase for Luffy:

• 30,000,000: Mihawk meets with Shanks, and shows him Luffy's new bounty
• 100,000,000: Shanks sends Rockstar to deliver a letter to Whitebeard
• 300,000,000: Shanks asks Whitebeard to stop Ace
• 400,000,000: Shanks appears in Marineford, and later attends Whitebeard and Ace's funeral
• 500,000,000: Shanks attends a funeral at a cover story, reading the newspaper about Luffy's new bounty
• 1,500,000,000: Shanks says he and Luffy will meet soon, then he arranges a meeting with the Gorosei

Luffy defeating Kaidou and Big Mom next will be the one that causes the most change around the world. It will definitely be the next big discussion which Shanks will be needed at, him and Garp will likely be present for this. Luffy's bounty after this is going to have to be on par with the legends that have been talked about as it is a big deal.
