Mag Talk Jump SQ (Shueisha)

Re: The official Jump Square thread

hello baby looks awesome! I sat that. But really I'm just judging it by its art. I mean BLue Dragon was shit. But it had awesome art. So hopefully the story is just as good. I'm looking forward to Frankenstein, it looks good. Hello Baby... I admit I'm looking forward to looking at Obata's art again. so yes. I suppose I am looking forward to it.

Thanks so much for uploading the raws you guys ^_^

Re: The official Jump Square thread

Hello Baby is a OneShot though Cupcake, so it's one and done.

Re: The official Jump Square thread

Is it ok if I ask for the RAW from Jump SQUARE here? Can anyone scan Tales of Innocence for me? (that's one of the two I'm interested in. X3 )

Re: The official Jump Square thread

will there be other series scanned of this mag? just to know

[Asakura]

Re: The official Jump Square thread

Yeah koenosaki... my goal is to get all SQ chapters out before the next issue.

Wish me luck o_O

788 pages... sheesh...

Logically, with Claymore, Embalming and Hello Baby done, we just went through about 15-20% of the mag already so we're making good progress.

P.S. putting kylara's Hello Baby scan up on the first page for reference.

Re: The official Jump Square thread

Another scan in the Jump SQ has also been posted in the RTS section.
It's Tsumikabatsu - scanned by Kylara. Check it out too, and I think Asakura will know what that is.

Re: The official Jump Square thread

On Ritual Scan Forge there's already Tista.
Let's try to spare some "homework" to Asakura.

Anyway...this magazine seems really cool, and next month...
Fujisaki's new manga and Araki's one shot.
WHADDAHELL!!!

[Asakura]

Re: The official Jump Square thread

Wow, who scanned Tista? It's one of the manga series I was going to scan. :P

Re: The official Jump Square thread

Tista looks very interesting! I really like the art, its sort of a 'Muhyo meets D-Gray Man' kind of thing. I really wish i had time to translate or i'd give this a shot, because i'm very impressed with what i've seen so far. I was gripped from the image on the chapter cover! That rarely happens to me, so i have good feelings about this story!

Oh yes..thank you ALL of you brave scanners for taking the time to scan Jump SQ for us! I wonder if the Ginpachi-sensei novel serilzation started this issue though...because i love Gintama...and anything related to it by extention ^_^

Post 100! WHOO!

Re: The official Jump Square thread

I'm gonna check out Tista while Editing Hello Baby. Looked interesting.

Yeah, i just gave it a second read-through. I don't want to promise anything since that leads up to heightened hopes, but i think i may give Tista a spin translation wise once i'm done this week's Gintama. I need to start translating more and stop giving the excuse about time. I realize that i'm learning more japanese translating than i am studying...so yeah. Again i'll try it, but Gintama is prioity to me. If i do try it, anyone is welcome to scantlate using my translation ^_^

Re: The official Jump Square thread

If I do scanlate it, it won't be a super pretty scan. It'll probably be a "I'll use the mag raws now, and re-do it when tanko's come out" type of Edited Manga.

Kinda like my group's version of Gantz, just a lot worst.

Not a problem. I'm just offering my services IF i decide to try to translate it. I've got school and work issues so i can't promise to be very reliable all of the time, but i'm working on time management so i can try to be availble often. I've always wanted to be a part of a group, but since i'm not very reliable i've always been scared to. (Manga Editors seem like scary people...and fans even more so.) But i'm feeling slightly more confident lately...so i wanted to help out the manga fandom that i've taken so much from.
