Well to be honest this week chapter was weird, the chapter offered a lot of new insight to the abilities of Iwakure shinobis and Kabuto's abilities. Some deep critics from the fans who are worried about the course of the manga, especially after watching dragon ball like flying style, but should we worried or should we see this as something extraordinary in the shinobi world and not as something that will become the standard int he universe of Naruto like it did in the Dragon ball universe.
I want to be positive.
Is hard to say what Kabuto have in mind, we just don't know what's going on in his mind. He could say something in particular and end doing something very different, we are used to that from this character in particular.
Aerial battle: Deidara vs Tsuchikage
This is the first time we see a flight style, like the one used by the Tsuchikage Oonoki, it is very similar to Dragon Ball's flying techniques, although it could be Kishimoto's way to homage Dragon Ball, just as I consider Gaara's use of his sand to homage Dragon Ball's Flying nimbus. Is this a good a or bad thing?, depends, for some of us elements used in Dragon Ball should not be revisited, maybe due nostalgia or just due being overexposed to them... However the manga makes a brief use of these abilities and they don't grant them to everyone, the only character who has the ability to fly by himself is Oonoki, other characters like Gaara and Deidara need to make use of sand or clay manipulation in order to fly trough the skies.
Oonoki don't seems to be in condition to fight Deidara, he might have powerful attacks, but the reaction timing of Oonoki seems to be really slow, if we consider that he got saved by his bodyguard's golem.
Something that we can really notice is that Akatsuchi is really fast when it comes to creating rock (doton?) based defenses and clones and not only how fast he is doing it, but also how strong these are, to the point of withstanding an explosion. Overall the fight between Deidara and the Tsuchikage was fast, but well paced, but as over the 11% of my readers voted in our review for chapter 512, Deidara was just a distraction.
Naruto, The Stoopid?
A lot of fans this week went on rampage after reading Naruto's attitude towards what's happening and as I said... I want to be positive as I try to change my life for better. Naruto is not really stoopid, is just a shounen character... and as shounen main character he is: ingenuous, naive, simple minded... just like other manga characters; Goku (Dragon Ball), Luffy (One Piece), Ichigo (Bleach)... these characters appear to be "stoopid" from time and time, but when the time calls for action, is like they totally change their personalities.
Just be patient people, you'll see Naruto kicking ass in no time.

Honestly it was sad to know that Kabuto knew about the abilities of Kurotsuchi, but at least we got to know more about her, for example she is at least a three element user Suiton (water), Katon (fire) and Doton (earth) and at least a Kekkai genkai, the ability to combine fire and earth to form Youton (lava element). This raises some hopes for me about characters like Tsunade for example, if Tsuchikage's dust element is confirmed to be a kekkai genkai, as it should because there are only five basic elements from where the others are originated...
Then there are hopes for Tsunade to reveal a possible ability to combine elements, water and thunder for example would create a special kind of water, as it does in real life... or transform magnetic fields, omg science is so cool. So that's one of the new possibilities, for Tsunade to have the ability to fuse other elements, is not like she needs it when she can KO someone with one hit, but still would be useful.
The Big Show: Kabuto's abilities
Honestly really cool abilities from Kabuto here, Kabuto is Voldermort!. Well is really cool that Kabuto is capable of speaking parcel, there's seems to be a special synchronization between him and his summons, which is really cool and come handy for tracking missions,
however the most interesting part was his full transformation into the white snake, this probably means that he can regenerate body parts and recover from injuries really fast, like Orochimaru and Sasuke in the second scenario.
Kabuto is showing that he was capable of improving the abilities and techniques that Orochimaru developed, and took them to new levels, we know that summoning beast of that size require a lot of chakra, in the case of Naruto it required chakra from the nine tails, when he was a kid...
Rinengan
The Rinengan is back to the spotlight, now that Madara has transfered it to his body. We know that all the techniques used by Nagato where doujutsu, so there's a high possibility that Madara could use now those techniques or maybe some of them as he just have one of these eyes.
However a lot need to be said, maybe now we'll get to see the shape of Tobi's EMS.
