Ok, here we go. I was thinking that almost everybody in manga has a way how to end. We know, that Naruto might die or become a hokage. Also we know some possible ends for Sasuke and others. There are some relationships also. Somebody is in love, there might be several couples.
Up until here there is no problem, i simply see ending for many characters.
But one of them has nothing. It is Kakashi. I simply can't find even one possible end for him. Still eventhough he is considered as a superawesome, it was actually never shown in the manga. Yes, he had great moves, great tacticts, great panels, but actually, when we compare him to another MAIN characters, he never had a shining moment!
From the very beginning, (you can jump this part, if you want):
When we met kakashi for the first time, he was shown as super cool. Since then he was seen in many fights and situations, but:
He never actually defeated Zabuza, for people in the land of Wawe Naruto was The Hero!
During Chuunin invasion, he was moved on the side track, not the main (Naruto, Sarutobi, Sasuke).
When he fought Kisame and Itachi, he was bonded with his teammates, he protected them and was screwed by Itachi.
When he went to save Gaara, eventhough he was the one who planned everything, it wasn't him, who saved Gaara. And eventhough he saved everybody from that blast, he did not capture Deidara.
He wasn't there when Naruto was going to save Sasuke.
When he fought Hidan and kakuzu (awesome panel of striking one of Kakuzu's hearts), it wasn't him, who have done the job (again, he was more protecting his teammates, then fighting those two)
When he fought Pain, eventhough his great tactics, he lost (but again, he protected his teammate, Chouji)
Ha saved Sakura after the fice kage summit, but then Naruto came and Kakashi has pulled back.
In the war, he had reunion with Zabuza and he defeated him, but it was not as great victory, as another of the main characters had.
So, do you think, that there is a plan for kakashi how to end, or will he be the guy in the back, who supports his friends, teammates and disciples?
Is he supposed to finally have one shining moment? One great victory (but almost all of the bad guys are dead, there is just milion of edotensei and Kishi has not shown any possible great match for Kakashi).
Eventhough if he defeats his opponents now, i don't think it will be counted as a HIS shining victory (there was whole army).
And what about relationships, he seems to be the most lonely guy in Narutoverse, don't tell me that Gai will be his biggest love.
Final question: Is there any chance, for this supercool character to step ahead and be The Guy (not Maito Gai
), or will he be just the one who stands behind success of his friends?
