That's because Muzan is a lil bitch. He's just a lil bitch who was lucky enough to be turned into something that could get away with acting like it's a strong awesome dude, but at heart he'll always be a lil bitch. He'll hide from anything he thinks can actually harm him, and act like the tough shit around anything he can hurt. And if he get's reminded of how much of a little bitch he is, he'll got find something he knows he can kill to take it out on in a pathetic attempt to not feel like a lil bitch.

When Muzan dies I fully expect it to be screaming and crying and begging. Like the Little Bitch he is.
honestly the sun and yoriichi are the only ones that can harm him and potentially tanjiro if he learns the 13th form

Quite the contrary. He just slaughtered the lot of the demon slayers. Yourichi is a freak of nature by human standards with super-human powers and the power of the sun, Muzan's kryptonite. Worse than kryptonite. It may be true he is pragmatic and isn't a true warrior like Akaza or Kokushibou, but he's not quite something that deserves this kind of vulgar language, even in jest.

I agree and disagree. While he IS more dangerous than Akaza or Kokushibou, he isn’t necessarily as durable, strong, or skilled as those 2. He’s just incredibly fast, and has a hax method of fighting, what with the squid method of fighting as I call it. But I disagree on your reverence of him. He really is a bitch. Dude would rather self destruct in a final attempt to get away or kill someone. And not even in an honorable Kamikaze style either.

Wait, am I missing anything? As far as I understand none of the demon slayers actually command elements or supernatural abilities. Sun breath is still just a specific way to swing a sword around. Yorichi could harm muzan because he could see where the closest things to vital organs in him were. That combined with his red sword probably did the trick. The 13th breath is likely to help tanjiro fight of course but it alone won't do crap. It has to work in conjunction with all the other stuff.

Interestingly, it seems like rengoku's ancestor was defending yorichi... Hopefully we get full context soon.

"not as durable, strong or skilled as those two" how can u assume this when the only person who has outspeed muzan was yoriichi, not only this is blatant dishonest but kukoshibo has ALREADY admit to himself he isnt comparable to muzan at all and not only that when kuko praised yoriichi is due to him pushing muzan which is a big feat which says something about muzan. kukoshibo wouldn't have done anything to muzan at all. if u wanna argue whos stronger and durable i am open to debate it.

no yoriichi was always the first person to teach the demon slayers breathing, hence they improved their own strength over the years. Sun breath is the first breath from the series thus far unless given any moment of plot twist that it isnt. Dance of the fire God allows one person to fight all night till sunrise, hence tanjuro could dance while in deathbed in the freezing cold weather.

Muzan definitely isn't as skilled as kokushibo or akaza. nothing we have seen suggests muzan is any form of martial artist. But... muzan is far more of a monster than either akaza or kokushibo. Physically he is superior to either. As in, faster and stronger... and rather than focusing on martial arts he fully takes advantage of the fact that he is a demon and fights like one. It's not honorable of beautiful nor there is any real skill to it... but what would a monster care about any of that?

Sure but, there is still nothing supernatural about sun breath that would allow an user to harm muzan and do anything that another style wouldn't pull with sufficient skill. no idea of what the sun breath being the first breath has to do with anything. Point is, sun breath is just swinging a sword around. There is nothing supernatural about it that would specifically allow the user to harm muzan.

What suggests that?? Muzan has been living for millennia and u wouldnt think he wouldnt learn a piece of martial arts? Heck if we're basing off martial arts kukoshibo has only learned swordsmanship which Muzan is bored of and doesnt care for bcuz it's not helpful.

Anybody can give off a "warrior" vibe when fighting someone weaker than them.

It is only when faced with the real threat of death that determines whether you a bitch or not.

Shinobu staked everything to pierce UM2's neck.

Muichirou didn't let go of his sword when he was bisected by UM1.

UM1 drew his sword when he was about to die to Sunbro.

What did Muzan do?

He ran.

Edit: I'm not disputing that Muzan is the strongest demon. But he still a bitch.

The fact that muzan does not look, behave or fight like a martial artist. What have we seen from him that evidences any sort of martial arts? Muzan is just a monster, he has no need for it.

Muzan as a bitch will never have the self-discipline to ever learn a martial art or a sword skill.

That much I agree with. Muzan is not disciplined nor has any self control whatsoever. Just look at how quickly he kills his own servants.... He killed most of the lower moons on a whim and under slightly different circumstances would have done the same to the upper moons. Heck, he killed nakime without a second thought in spite of the fact that she was largely his most useful and irreplaceable servant. The lower moons wouldn't have a chance against a hashira of course but multiple of them ganging up on one could have been a serious threat. Let alone what they could do to non hashira demon slayers. Of course, it remains true that if it were up to muzan he would never have created another demon nor gotten involved with anyone.

Lower moons were supposed to be able to put up a decent fight against Pillars.

It just happens that the Pillars of the current generation are abnormally strong. A pillar taking out an Upper Moon is something that hasn't happened in 100 years, let alone holding their own against Muzan.

that's not what my post is about. My post is more about how muzan has no self control and kills his own minions without having any reason at all to do so. Even if lower moons did not compare to upper moons, they were still basically muzan's top 12 demons. Muzan iirc killed 4 of the lower moons... He basically killed a third of his strongest handpicked demons because he was angry. Not because they failed him, not because they betrayed him...

Muzan is great. What better way to live than to avoid the one person than can kill you. Ain't no shame in that. I'd do the exact same thing in his position, lol.

Yoruichi though, man, he had it rough. He knew the consequences of his failure would be far reaching and it weighed on him heavily. He probably spent the remainder of his life trying to find Muzan, but could never again locate him.

It's a shame the First Pillars kicked him out despite his strength, but think about it. Their organization had already spent centuries trying to kill Muzan and the one person who was closest to killing him failed to do so. Not only that, but he let another demon, who, for all they knew, would go on killing more people, go and his own brother turned coat. It wasn't his fault, but from their perspective, he snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Chapter's out and it's beautiful. And we finally have confirmation that the Red Blade truly is the only way to take Muzan out besides the Sun. Had he let his head go, he would have finally died. Took a while for the regeneration to kick in. Great foreshadowing on Gotouge’s part what with the death of Kokushibou.

While he regenerates at an astounding rate, Muzan is still getting cut by the Demon Slayers. Giyuu couldn’t even cut through Akaza at all at first without first activating his mark, and even then he couldn’t pull it off. Sanemi had the same issues with Kokushibou, and so did Himejima until he finally accessed the see-through world. Hell, Kokushibou literally took Marked Muichirou’s own sword out his hand mid-swing and impaled him with it. So Durability goes to Akaza and Kokushibou.

Everyone’s comments about Muzan’s attacks aren’t anything about his destructive capabilities. It’s always the speed and reach of his attacks. Akaza’s attacks pack a far more powerful punch in terms of blunt impact force. Kokushibou’s attacks are like a combination of reach and impact force. Plus he had those extra crescents causing damage to whatever it hits. He created most of those craters where he was fighting everyone at. The only thing is his attacks aren’t as fast as Muzan’s. So I’m going with him and Akaza being more powerful.

Now when the conversation about skill comes into play, you can see by his fighting style that Muzan has no real experience in Martial arts. He literally just expects to outspend everyone when he could have easily intertwined his attack range and speed along with some movements that would take his regeneration into account. But no. Like an animal he's just flailing his limbs about. Kokushibou and Akaza both dedicated themselves to their respective Martial arts. So no. Muzan is nowhere near as skilled. I await your response.

Parasyte method. ;)
Perfect way to put it lol.

He specifically stated to Michikatsu that he wanted a Breath User. At the time, they were all Swordsman. He also took on Kaigaku. Another Breath User/Swordsman. He wasn't necessarily bored with Swordsmen. His point of view was why have more than one when Kokushibou is so high spec, and he's looking for multiple types of talents.

Ok, now a few comments on the chapter...

The first thing is that this chapter reinforces the idea that i had that the sun breath isn't actually all that important when it comes to killing muzan. Yorichi of course has godly technique, which he probably does not even realize himself, but it was a combination of things which allowed him to actually almost finish up muzan. His ability to see transparent bodies allowed him to target muzan's organs with extraordinary precision, his godly technique allowed him to hit them and finally his red blade immobilized muzan. Another thing I am thinking... Yorichi makes the point that he completed his breath. Which I take to mean that his final breath is one that allows him to target muzan's organs with the precision and speed he needs to make meaningful damage. Interestingly this probably means himejima is likely to be able to perceive muzan's organs.

It's a shame but none of the current demon slayers appear to have red blades. On the other hand clearly there is a way for people to obtain it, evidenced by yorichi. I suppose tanjiro will have to acquire the red blade. I am sure the secret to acquiring red blades should be pretty evident through tokiko but it remains unclear to us...

another point is muzan's trick to survive the battle... that's actually pretty good. Muzan was perfectly able to prioritize his own survival over his rage... Of course, muzan will soon be cornered and he is almost certain to split himself apart to escape. But thanks to tanjiro's spoilers at least tanjiro won't be caught off guard.

God dammit yorichi is too pure for the world.
