Anyways sorry for the late reply, i've been a bit busy lately, schools have just started so trying my best to cope up with it. My holidays were alright i guess, i was babysitting my 5 months old nephew so didnt even realize how quickly the time passed and here i am with the new session starting all over again

Well as for me, i only have to wear that if going to a formal function like a wedding or during an indian festival like diwali sometimes ( have u heard of it?) so im pretty much neutral towards it.

Its not Holy its holi ( Totally different meanings )
Its the festival of colours where you throw colour powders and water (like using water balloons,water guns etc) at your friends , families, neighbors or even strangers. I remember when i was younger i even used to throw water balloons at strangers from the terrace then run away and hide ( dem days) and there was also this dog i used to torture by throwing water ballons at it .... and before this day , there is also another festival known as "Holika dahan" where you light bornfires at night and eat snacks/ hang around with friends/families/neighbors ...
Its a very fun festival and i kinda miss playing it

and about kurtas, not that i know much about it but what i do know is pakistani ones have more embroidery work in it and they try to keep it plain but kinda royal and on the other hand indian ones use more gems, shiny fibres and try to make it more "flashy" .
