Watched all anime seasons, but read the manga too after that. Still, the first short arc of the anime is my favorite, what about you?

I did all three of them. Anime was a good adaption of the VN, at least one of the fewer VN adaptions that actually had a solid anime lol. However I do kind of want to recheck them again (mostly manga and VN) to refresh my memory a bit more on some parts. xD I did the same with Umineko, of course, I am not sure if you have tried Umineko yet, which is Higu's sister VN/Manga. If not, then I highly recommend you to try that one also! (not the anime though, pure garbage... like omfg they skipped so much.. they better do a redo..... someday...) I am certain that you will see some comparison/connection between Umi and Higu! Also, there will be a new sister VN called Kikonia When they cry (WTC5) this summer, or at least that is what Ryukishi07 said in his interview and a short VN trailer has already been released. So, I am honestly looking forward to that one also and hopefully there will be some mention/connection between Higurashi and Umineko in that story as well. >w<

Naisu! Eveytime I search for Higurashi fanarts I get Umineko ones, and these are so stunning. I remember wanting to start the Umineko anime after loving Higurashi but I found lots of reviews saying how bad the Umineko anime is, so I didn't start it in the end. But if you say so too, I will read the manga. These Higurashi connections sound great after rewatching some arcs so many times. Beatrice is a main character there, right? She looks beautiful.
