CHAPTER 44O REVIEW
Quite an early release. Ok, i don't think i like this review that much. It started out good, but fell apart at the end. Which is why i wouldn't be doing another review at 3:00am, i was literally falling asleep toward the end of writing it. I will try to redo the ending part tomorrow, if i have time.
OPEN YOUR EYES
It was quite sad to see most people overlooking this part of last chapter. I think overlooking that was overlooking one of the most symbolic moment in the manga, if not the most symbolic. That was the first time in the manga in which Naruto was simply answer-less, in which he was totally confuse and had forgotten who he really his. First time he had ever shout out for help and ask for somebody else answer, instead of finding his own. At that point of time he was under going his worst identity and philosophical crisis ever, and darkest period of his life. Naruto was about to revert to the "dark-side", through seeking revenge, just like Sasuke and Nagato. I think too many people overlooked that.
But I blame Kishi for that; he shouldn't have put Yondaime in the same chapter as when Naruto was like that.
After the unexpected turn of effects last chapter, Minato appearance, the chapter brings with Naruto already in 8tails Mode (not 9tails like some thought). The 8tails had broken out of God Realm Chibaku Tensei, an unbelievable Jutsu. I think Chibaku Tensei is one of the most powerful jutsu ever shown in the manga. To me there is only two ways to escape it, brutal force (on the scale of the 8tails Kyuubi) or unbelievable speed. And for like the first time, we see Pein surprise and in disbelieve. He couldn't believe that the 8tails broke out of Chibaku. To combat this, he wanted to make a bigger Chibaku Tensei. This beg the question of how fucking large is Nagato chakra pool. The guy must have a chakra pool comparable to Bijuus. I wonder if the Rinnegan is what enables him to have such a ridiculous large chakra pool.
MINATO: YOUR ARE MY SON!!!
I have to say Minato appearance in the last chapter was the most unexpected thing that ever happens in the manga. Like everybody, I was shock, and left speechless when I saw the spoiler that showed he was going to be in chapter 439. Who would have thought that Minato will be the one to tell Naruto that he his father. I was personally expecting Kakashi to be the one that tell him. So Minato's "soul clone" was in Naruto as a fail-safe, he was there to stop Naruto from allowing the Kyuubi to completely take over him by releasing the seal. No wonder the dude was consider the greatest shinobi Konoha ever produced, been able to seal a part of himself inside Naruto to prefect him from releasing the seal is pure genius.
I guess Minato stopping Naruto from releasing the seal is a bad news to the people who for some reasons want to see the 9tails. To add to your bad news, this means we most likely will never see the 9tails. Naruto will never release the seal and allow the Kyuubi to take complete control now.
After hearing the 4th say his name, Naruto wonders out loud how the 4th know his name. The 4th enlighten Naruto to the much-awaited news, he told him that he gave him the name Naruto and that Naruto is his son. WOW EPIC. I think that moment was probably the most joyous and happiest one of Naruto's life, as shown by his reaction. He reacted to the news with a joyous laugh. Naruto had always tried to emulated Minato, he was/is his favorite Hokage; he wanted to be a hero of the village just like him. So him finding out that the person he admires the most is his father has to be a great boost for him. Finding this out should drive him to be more like Minato, and try to surpass him. This will definitely motivate Naruto to become stronger.
TOUGH LOVE
With the Kyuubi whining like a bitch, Minato decide that he and Naruto should go talk somewhere more quit. Minato revives that Sandaime probably didn't tell Naruto about his linage because he wanted to keep everything about the Kyuubi a secret. He also did it to protect Naruto, because if people knew he was Minato son then he would have been under constant danger. I guess Minato made a lot of enemies during his time. Then Minato apologize to.... but wait a minute....
HOLY FUCK, with teary eyes Naruto punches Minato right in the gut!!! Haha, Minato didn't see that coming. Naruto then asks him why he sealed something like the Kyuubi inside his own son.
Minato went on to explain to Naruto that he sealed the Kyuubi inside him because he believed Naruto would learn and master how to use it someday. This confirms Jiraiya assessment that Minato sealed the Kyuubi inside Naruto so that he can use it. Which means, to the doubters, that Naruto will learn to control the Kyuubi someday. I think learning to control the Kyuubi will be his next training, after the key frog display itself to him.
Furthermore, he sealed the Kyuubi inside Naruto because when he fought the Kyuubi there was someone controlling it from the shadow. Someone with great powers, that can't be defeated without some special power. Minato reveals that the person is the member of Akatsuki that wears a mask, Madara/Tobi. This confirm Jiraiya other assessment that Madara was behind the attack of the village by Kyuubi. This means, like expected, Madara was lying when he told Sasuke that the Kyuubi attack was just a natural disaster and that he had nothing to do with it. Which puts Madara whole history lesson under suspicion, like it wasn't before. What Madara said about what happened between the Uchiha clan and Konoha shouldn't be taken as the real fact yet. The guy is a snicky bastard, i'm sure he was manipulating a lot of the facts to get Sasuke to side with him.
Minato also reveals that Pein is most likely been use by Madara. Minato believes that Madara is manipulating Pein through Pein's hatred toward Konoha. So basically Madara just manipulated Pein to do his dirty work, destroy Konoha, for him. I think this also basically means that Madara is in some form of weaken state, he doesn't have his full power. Madara doesn't have the power to destroy Konoha by himself, so he manipulated Pein to do so.
Also for some reason some people think Minato and Madara fought, I’m quite sure they didn't. Minato clearly stated that "Madara" was controlling the Kyuubi from the shadow, not on the frontline. Furthermore, if Madara and Minato had fought it would have been know to the villagers that Minato was fighting someone else too beside the Kyuubi. There is no way they could have fought without it been known. The part about "Madara" seeing through his moves simply means, that he saw through his move from the shadow that he was controlling the Kyuubi from, and control the Kyuubi accordingly to that. Also the fact that Madara didn't try to destroy Konoha after Minato died add to the reasons why i don't think he is at full power and can destroy Konoha by himself.
ANOTHER HINT THAT KAKASHI IS ALIVE.
In this chapter Kishi dropped another hint that Kakashi isn't dead. Minato told Naruto that he is aware of the destruction of Konoha and the death of Jiraiya, but he didn't say anything about Kakashi's "death". This means that Kishi doesn't want to confirm that Kakashi is dead, which in turns means that he isn't dead. If Kakashi is dead, Kishi would have confirmed it already, he had countless amount of chance to do so.
KAKASHI HATAKE: EVILA M'I
PEACE, AGAIN.
Peace, peace, and some more peace. I never thought I would come to despise that word this much. Let me put it quite simple, I don't like where Kishi is taking the manga with all this peace stuff. This chapter just confirms my fear, Kishi is really trying to make Naruto begin ultimate peace to Narutoverse, and destroy the Ninja system as well. He is trying to make Naruto create a Utopian in Narutoverse. I don't dig that in any form of way. He is even making the second coolest character in Naruto, Minato, spit shits about peace. *(Kakashi is the #1 coolest character, if you wondering
)* Minato is basically telling Naruto that he will have to destroy the Ninja system because "as long as love exist, there will be hate, and ninjas will be use by that hatred". Minato believe that as long as the Ninja system exist other psychopath like Pein will be create through hate.
I BELIEVE IN YOU.
But one thing that I like about that part of the conversation is Naruto declaring that he can't forgive Pein. I think that is a good thing. But I fear that resort might change once he sees how pathetic Nagato is.
Moreover, Minato reveal that like Jiraiya he doesn't have the answer of how to begin peace to Narutoverse and that Naruto will have to find the answer by himself. With Naruto spouting out that if great ninja like Minato and Jiraiya can't figure out the answer then how is he suppose to do so, the greatest father and son moment in the manga is shown to us. Robbing his head in a fatherly way, Minato told Naruto that he will find the answer and that he believes in him.
A NEW DAY HAS COME.
With that Minato told Naruto that he have to leave because his chakra his fading. Before he leaves he redid the seal and told Naruto that Konoha can be rebuild. I think that is it for Minato, he wouldn't be returning.
"When the tree leaves dance, one shall find flames. The fire's shadow will illuminate the village, and once again, tree leaves shall bud anew." Sarutobi, Hiruzen (his last words)
After his inner self said "thank you dad", will are shown the real life Naruto, already in Sage Mode, hanging upside down with no hesitation on Pein's moon. This is the worst times to fight Naruto, when he just got motivate.
I think we are bound to see a new and a truly mature Naruto after this fight.

Well this was a good chapter, didn't quite live to the expectation, but a good chapter nonetheless.
