I confused : Kurapoka will die when he use CJ to attack non-Phantom Troupe or only die when wraps around non-Phantom Troupe and force them enter Zetsu

I don't think Kurapika's nen is way above average. But when dealing with the spiders, it is. The 'deal' made his nen multiplies, right? The Mystery Point?
the nen behind the chain jail increases because of the condition

yes the codition he placed on his heart would kill him if he uses the chain jail on anyone outside of the troupe

well i know that he was busting big ass rocks and the hard ass rocky ground with his normal attack chains

he may not be to gon and killuas level of freakish power but hes stronger than your average nen user

The % is far more important than the volume here. There are many combination of techniques that are impossible in HXH limited by your inherent deficiencies in each school. Take the Royal Guards, who have an incredible amount of output/reserves, Yupi still isn't going to be manipulating people, and Pitou still suffers a crippling restriction of essentially forced Zetsu while using Dr. Blythe (which is 3 away from his natural!) If you go back to the Ubogin fight, what really tripped up Ubogin wasn't Kurapika pretending to be a Manipulation user. It's Emperor Time making it impossible for Ubogin to determine his true school. From Ubogin's experience, we can infer that neither Manipulation nor Materialization users can tank a Big Bang head on. Therefore, from his point of view, Chain Jail should not be capable of doing anything tricky and he's pretty confident that he can break any chains without a nasty special effect on it, whether they're real or constructed out of aura. And this is a pretty valid assumption. When the Spiders are discussing the fight they also agree only Manipulation or Materialization can put a strong enough special effect on chains to subdue Ubogin, which means any other school should not be able to do so.

I totally agree with you but the facade of being a Manipulator is primarily how Kurapicka want's to use his CJ in conjuction with IN because he's won once he has his CJ wrapped around a Spider..I agree with you but it was both.

ET was on the Whole time Kurapicka fought Uvo, So Yes Uvo was puzzled as to how Kurapicka was able to fend off his attacks if he's not from the Top 3 Classes.

Kurapicka's Chain are powered by his Normal Nen + Mystery Nen (Scarlet Eyes).
Scarlet Eye Kurapicka allows ET but also while in this state his emotions are very raw. Kurapicka's Nen presumably while Scarlet Eye is pretty powerful but it's a mix of Geneology/Mystery Nen from his emotions.

So what Uvo saying about his chain having powerful Nen was Kurapicka's Mystery Point Nen he gains when fighting Spider's and Emperor Time's 100% Reinforcement NeN.

Its sad that togashi did such a good job structuring the nen system and explaining how amazing feats like kurapikas et or gons adult transformation can be achieved with a mix of training and sacrifice

yet someone like you is so hell bent on hating kurapika that you call it magic nen over and over again, because you know that covert method of bashing him wont get your post deleted

why exactly do you dislike kurapika so much?

Gon and Kurapicka don't and didn't need training to Use ET or Become Adult Gon.

The fact you don't understand that is why I don't QUOTE or write to you.

yet someone like you is so hell bent on hating kurapika that you call it magic nen over and over again, because you know that covert method of bashing him wont get your post deleted
What??? Magic Nen??? What the hell are you talking about?..It's called mystery nen and it cannot be calculated because it's a fluxating variable...You don't comprehend this important information even when it is heavily correlated to a Character you like just a bit to much....Another reason why I don't Quote or even write to you

why exactly do you dislike kurapika so much?
Who Said that I dislike his character?

I dislike the fact he's too Emo regarding his Extinct Clan, Their Eyes or the Bandits that killed them...Emo means emotional and I can call whichever fictional character Emo if I want.

His Nen debut was an OP showing and PIS, this is evident when shown Killua and Gon's training in Nen by Biscuit both times.

Ooo and Fanboys/ Fangirls/ Over Zeallous Fans period that think Kurapicka is God of HxH or that he can defeat the RG's Etc Etc....It's ridiculous and you bring disdain to the character's name.

Lol, So this will be the 1st and last time I quote you and write to you, because you don't care about what context clues the manga/anime offers, the reason's to why characters lose etc...You just believe what you believe and don't use facts from the story.

I've noticed that people really have issues with the 'chosen one' characters. Despite its seemingly egalitarian fighting system, HXH is actually all about heritage. If you're Gon or Kurapika, there's nothing fair about your starting point compared to the rest of human beings. It's roughly the difference between the starting point of a Saiyan versus an Earthling. Kurapika's abilities are simply overwhelming powerful and people apparently really hate the fact that he can effortlessly bash your favorite character just because he's literally a Super Saiyan when his eyes turn red.

Like it or not, there's no point to compare your favorite human character to a certified 'monster', like Gon, Kurapika, Ging, or Netero. Killua is said to be the most talented of his generation and would easily rank near the top for talent amongst all generations of Zs, but he was viewed as inferior to a vastly inexperienced Gon in the Hunter Exam. It's probably a good thing that Kurapika immediately faded out of the picture, because otherwise you should be feeling sorry for the guys he's fighting. To put it this way, the Royal Guards are actually not quite 'monster' on the same scale someone like Gon is (Pitou, for example, is afraid of Gon's potential), but they obviously have a far better starting point in all measureable attributes. Pitou, for example, can learn an ability by just thinking about it. But Dr. Blythe is significantly less useful than Healing Chain for combat purposes (most importantly, Healing Chain doesn't put yourself in a Zetsu state where you die instantly if anyone hits you). The only reason why Dr. Blythe works is that Pitou is physically strong enough to risk taking some hits while in Zetsu. If he has a human body he'd simply die the moment he tried to use Dr. Blythe. So even at the talent level of the Royal Guards, their ability is still likely inferior compared to Emperor Time combos that Kurapika can do in terms of quality.

Gon has more latent potential than anybody and by heritagee Kurapicka naturally is able to surpass human limitations....Thats not my problem, my problem is when people make these characters out to be invincible or these characters become Goku on forums which isn't the case... Kurapicka is not invincible and what pisses me off is Ren Kouen take on how much of a beast Kurapicka is and he can man handle the spiders when technically he's on the right road to man handle them but can't exactly do so yet, unless he excessively plot's on their defeat...Ask others though Kurapicka is simply WTF owning the Spiders because he's that much of a beast...

Power isn't absolute. Kurapicka proves this point by creating a Hatsu ability for the Spider's defeat..Kurapicka is a beast but stop making him out to be a Top Nen user when his whole powers are PIS mystery nen points...AKA Shounen Power..not like Gon and Killua who we've seen train and go through different stages of power.

So wait a second... if being emotional means you are emo, then that means the entire cast of this entire series is emo, right? I cant even think of one character that hasnt had an emotional moment. I guess Kite would be the best choice but honestly every character is emo according to you lol.

But the point is that Kurapika IS overwhelming powerful. In a series where the goal is trying to stay alive at any cost, name an ability that is better defensively than Healing Chain. Even without Chain Jail his Reinforcement attack is strong enough that Ubogin considers him someone who can use Reinforcement at its maximum effciency, so he's at worst equivalent of a Reinforcement user that can also heal his wounds very quickly. I mean he can activate Emperor Time by seeing an ordinary spider on the ground!

And I don't get why you think Kurapika doesn't train just because the story doesn't waste 5 volumes him doing trainng 101. Why would someone who is most definitely obsessed with revenge that involves defeating some pretty powerful guys not spend most of his time honing his fighting skills? He can fight Hisoka to a stand off at the end of the Hunter Exam, which suggests his non aura-related skills are likely top notch (the fight predates the concept of aura), and you think he'll just not train on a power that's even more useful for fighting?

Even in HXH the guys who are human can't fight the monsters, and Kurapika is indeed quite unapologic about being a monster. If you look at the flashback for the Kurta tribe, they sure don't look like a tribe of people that spend too much honing in on their fighting skills and yet Ubogin said it was a big time job killing the Kurtas.

Ill have you know that i am actually a fan of the spiders, i live them as villains , they have great characters and personality

the only reason i was saying stuff like kurapika would manhandle them is because you claimed all of kurapikas achievements were plot induced stupidity, and you refused to give kurapika any credit, i realize hes not invincible , but he is really damn strong

and i agree that gon has more potential

the fact is uvo underrates kurapika, because he was young and small, and he didnt think some punk kid could beat him.

But kurapika's cj and really all of his hatsu, are very well thought out

Not that I'm interested in this whole conversation, but I have to point out this inaccurate statement. Killua was always, ALWAYS said(and shown) to be more talented than Gon and superior to him in nearly all aspects(before and after learning Nen).

Gon was not said to be stronger than Killua in the exam but more qualified to be a Hunter.

Of course there are going to be Emo moments in the story Kite's Death, Netero's Death, Killua & Nanika/Alluka relationship those fit the story...Kurapicka is constantly being shown to be pissed off and ready to murder someone when his tribe's massacre is refereed to..I understand him being an avenger but it's to obsessive and he's not even cool about he goes all pyscho as seen in the last chapter...

For Kurapicka looking like a pretty boy and naturally being a good person it doesn't suit him and I don't like the dark turn his character has taken..Personally because it doesn't suit him and he's a jerk for not going to see Gon.

And I don't get why you think Kurapika doesn't train just because the story doesn't waste 5 volumes him doing trainng 101. We did see Kurapicka train after the Hunter exam and it was within the same 6months as Gon/Killua. Gon/Killua did cut their training short at just learning the basics, they don't continue until G.I. which they were they for about another 6+months; Because Killua goes to take the Hunter exam agin during the G.I. arc...Even after this in another 2+months they train with Biscuit and Knuckle in actual Nen combat.

So my point is Gon/Killua 1st 6Mths had Training with basic Nen and battle experience fighting in the tower. After they gain more experience watching Kurapicka chase the spiders and encountering them...In G.I they only have 1 minor physical fight with the Bombers and that was for the most part a guerilla attack they launched to win the fight..Meaning they were out powered to came up with a strategy to help their odds to win..

Kurapicka's is strong and a great charater and i'm actually looking forward to him killing some Spiders, I know they aren't going to kill him but they would of and were capabe back in the York Shin Arc. I just like to point out that his Mastery of Nen in such a short amount of time is contradictory to what we see Genius Gon/Killua take a Year plus+ to polish their skills.

And No kurapicka was never even with Hisoka..Never.

Kurta Clan members who get excited Eye's turn Scarlet Red and their aura changes and they become fierce....Nen is not exclusive to Hunters...You just need to Know Nen to be a Pro Hunter...Anywho's Assasin's know Nen and learn it differently from Shingen Ryu like Illumi,Silva, and Zeno...Also Ppl who great craftsman apply a bit of Nen unconsciously to their crafts such as Artist and pot makers and most notably Benzhine and his Knives.

So the Kurta tribe probably had 1 or 2 Nen users themselves and others who were battle efficient and went Scarlet Eyes and were capable of defending themselves..The Kurta obviously wasn't that strong as None of the Spiders were known to have died on that raid.

Ill have you know that i am actually a fan of the spiders, i live them as villains , they have great characters and personality

This is the first time you have ever acknowledge Uvo's bad judgement calls contributing to his death, all your others post are kurapicka handle him like lil B..Etc Etc which wasn't the case Kurapicka simply displayed that the Spiders are all doomed by him and His CJ and that his powers are stupid strong.

Even with that stated we are shown that Uvo was just slipping and should have never faced somebody as smart and tricky as Kurapicka alone. And the majority of the other Spiders would trample him 1 on 1.

But as the manga plot thickens you realize the author created a couple minor plot hole pertaining to Nen battles..and Kurapicka should mostly be a Power beast but not so sufficiently proficient in fighting with Nen like a master cause that's just not possible without years of training and experience.

Maybe not talent, but more like he has a better battle sense if you will. They were both new to Nen, but Killua was still ahead in that. Either way, he is by no means "inferior to Gon" in talent or just prowess in general.

I agree , killua was a trained assasin when they met at 12 yo

gon was self trained from survival in the wilderness

both have substantial potential, but killuas fighting skills were more acute
while gons observation skills were probably more acute

but they are both ridiculously talented

but we are getting off topic gentlemen!!!
Kurapika is not as talented as those two, but he may have a genetic advantage and he must have trained very very hard to polish his hatsu, i wish we could have seen more of his training

Kurapika was a good fighter even before he learned nen, and he is probably not as skilled as some of the spiders due to the lack of exp, i can agree to that

but its not like hes lacking in skill power or intelligence

and you can claim togashi is just making him strong all you want, but isnt togashi the same one who made the spiders strong? Wasnt gons defeat of pitou a bit of ass pull?
I can agree that the scarlet eyes are a bit over powered and contain a bit of asspull, but its not the only asspull in this manga

and i stated several times how uvo should have realized he couldnt use nen after the limo ride when he was wrapped in chain jail
but even durinf the final battle he couldnt figure out why he couldnt "gather any aura" until kurapika broke down his ability for him

and unless the other spiders walk around with gyo all the time, they could be wrapped in some chain jail chains (coated with en) before they know it

kurapika is a dangerous matchup for any spider, its not like any of them would stomp him easily like you think

Killua is frightening talented but nobody ever described him as a monster, unlike Gon. He's generally ahead of Gon just because he spent a lot more time honing his skills but skills and experience can't match the 'monster' label. And really Gon is only a monster in sense of output. All his moves in his Uber Gon move are just logical extensions of what he could normally do but with far greater output. Kurapika has combination of moves that shouldn't even be possible by the rules of HXH, on top of having greatly increased output when he's angry.

In fact Killua is probably the limit of how powerful a 'human' could be in the world of HXH. Even if he realizes all his potential, he'd probably be around the top amongst all the generations of powerful Zs, which means he'd still be a punching bag against someone like Netero. Now that's not something to be ashme of because pretty much any non 'monster' character is a punching bag for Netero but you're still just a glorified punching bag.

By the way I think people get too caught up on the whole restriction thing. The HXH restriction is pretty bogus to begin with. We can be pretty sure without Emperor Time, Kurapika might not even survive a Big Bang (there's no reason to believe a Materialization user could've tanked that straight up, at all). So the fact that his eyes leaves him drained and possibly forced asleep for a while is not an equal exchange. You're talking about an ability that allows him to beat someone who would otherwise easily kill him, so if there's supposed to be an equal drawback he should've died after using Emperor Time. Same thing for Gon. Pitou was going to win that fight 100 times out of 100 times even in greatly distressed mental state, so the fact that Gon can turn into Uber Gon and then wipe the floor with Pitou means he should've died immediately after he won for this to be even balanced, because he killed someone he normally has 0% chance of beating. Netero's hatsu supposed to have a drawback in that he has to pray first, but if not even Mereum can take advantage of that opening, then that's not really a drawback anymore, and should not have offered any increase in power.

I mean it'd be like if you have a restriction like 'instantly die if someone is faster than you' but you're already the world's fastest guy. The guys who are monsters basically get to cheat with absolutely bogus restrictions that offers insane powerup at a minimal drawback. Just sacrificing your life shouldn't even be enough to overcome someone who otherwise can kill you 100% of the time. Otherwise anyone could've pulled such a technique when it seems certain they will lose.

Also, I don't know why people think Kurapika was not on par with Hisoka in terms of pure skills. Let's see, so we got a guy who has been plotting to sell out the Spiders for a long time for a chance to fight Kuroro. He knows that if the Spiders caught him it's pretty much certain death, since Spiders are all roughly comparable to him so even 2on1 he'd have a hard time surviving. Indeed he told Kurapika that the reason why he recruited for help is that Kuroro always have at least 2 other guys by him, so we can conclude that Hisoka knows he has no chance of fighting a 1on3. So apparently he just recruited a guy who people claim sucks on a ploy that can easily get himself killed if his partner turns out to suck?

Neon's prophecy tells you only the key points, so we can see that originally Hisoka played a relatively little part in the deaths of the Spiders. Otherwise you'd see prophecy like "DO NOT LISTEN TO THE CLOWN!" Of course, we know that Hisoka only knows two Spider's ability in depth (Ubogin and Shizuku), so his information really didn't help Kurapika that much to begin with. Ironically this helped him because otherwise Neon's prophecy would've foretold of his betrayal. We can see Hisoka's plan is to have Kurapika do all the dirty work and he'll just get his 1on1 during the chaos. And yet for some reason people think Kurapika is nowhere in the same league as Hisoka, despite Hisoka is counting on him to tie up most of the Spiders in the first place? Hisoka might be crazy but he's not suicidal. He obviously believes Kurapika is a capable ally or he wouldn't have risked his life to fake the prophecy.
