That's an interesting match-up.
When August said "the only one who can defeat Larcade is her mother", i think he was talking about who in Ishgar side can defeat him. I don't think he meant that he (August) or Irene couldn't beat Larcade.
However Irene was affected by Larcade's orgasmic magic (oh god i cant get used to it thats so lame )
August would probably defeat Larcade since he didn't seem to be affected at all. But Irene was affected to such an extent that Wendy could block one of her spells.
I know this was a casual spell, but this is Irene and Wendy we're talking about. That shouldn't have happened. I firmly believe Irene's power was greatly reduced by Larcade's magic.
Thus i'd say Larcade actually has a decent chance to win.

Most of our prediction being Larcade is among the top tier proved true in 509. Larcade can challenge both August and Irene. Larcade is my guy but it would be reckless to say Irene doesn't win. I would give her mid diff, I still put August > Irene > Larcade in that order regardless what anyone says. Irene will drown in his Pleasure though, but she can use her enchantments to snap out of it somehow.

I'd give this to Irene IMO. One of the reasons why Wendy countered Irene's enchantment wasn't just because of Larcade's spell but at the same time, it's because Wendy uses enchantments, so she's a good counter for Irene. Larcade is strong, sure. But it was also stated by Yukino that Irene is the strongest Wizard of the North, and we know that Larcade was also in the North. Therefore, Irene>Larcade.

Irene suffers super effective effs from Larcade´s magic, for some reason, maybe it´s her heart thats so screwed up that makes the magic super effective? eitherway, Larcade wins, med. difficulty unless Irene had prep. time in the fight to use high level enchanting magic, before being attacked by Larcade´s magic, like Universe One, etc...

She should´ve just bitten her tongue then, instead of trying to normally tank, also this wasnt Larcade using a extreme amount of magic on one person, but rather on the entire battlefield, Irene being affected on such a level is a disgrace for her power level as a Spriggan. And many others affected by the pleasure magic, tried to tank it whole instead of conducting self damage on their bodies, showcasing that the magic is like a addictive drug, only a select few can get enough willpower to bypass.

And it's not a disgrace to her power level. Zeref was also affected. It's a hax, power level can be transcended depending on the type of magic (and not to mention Larcade is close to Irene's level).

Zeref being effected would actually be benefittal for his curse activation, whereas Irene, gets nerfed in her enchantments if affected.

No, it´s just super effective against dummies that dont inflict pain on themselves, it´s just like Boa´s Love Love fruit powers, except with a lil bonuses, in managing to actually kill people directly with it, instead of turning them to stone, and then there are Larcade´s immunities with the magic, thats what´s haxed, the moment you make a character imune to like 99% of all other character in a series that is pure hax, while is magic is more of very strong + added to the fact he has a magic power of a top 3 spriggan 12 member, it could only imply it would be this strong.

I'll give this match to Larcade. Irine was affected due to his magic while fighting with Erza and Wendy as mentioned above. But Larcade is Zeref's son. He might have been neglected by Zeref, buy, we can safely assume that Zeref taught him some magic and made him a mage. Hence there is a high possibility that Larcade has a trump card passed on to him by Zeref himself.
Another unaccounted fact is that the battle is taking place in Magnolia, which has huge amount of pollen in air. If either of these have a pollen allergy, game over for that mage. (Just like Brandish)

Guys remember that Larcade's magic is a massive handicap for Irene. Overall Irene > Larcade in power but Larcade is in the same tier as Irene. What happens when two people in the same tier fight with one having a huge handicap? We saw what a pitiful spell Irene mustered against Erza that even Wendy blocked.

August beats all, Irene is number 2 but Larcade would beat her even though he is number 3.

LOL No, Irene murderstomps Larcade really bad. It's not just Brandish who considered Irene and August as the strongest overall, even Yukino said that Irene is the strongest spriggan of the "NORTH" and we all know that Larcade is also in the North with Irene and Bradman. So??

Irene wins this somewhere inbetween mid and high difficulty imo. Larcade's overrated, I hate using that word but people really did hype him up and say he's more than he actually is. While his magic would affect her somewhat, I still think Irene could win it because Larcade isn't that great imo, so she should be able to do enough to beat him given her Enchantments, Magic Power etc.
