I actually never paid attention to it. I usually just leave the match once possible, before it shows the numbers changing. I think it's somewhere around 30 points, also the same amoung I get from winning.
Why are you asking? Did you finish the rest of your placement matches? And how were the games after I left?

What How did you get almost the same amount as me when I got placed? I had 2360 iirc. I'm currently at 2380 after all our wins though. Diamond is close.
Lost 120 from 2 games? Hm I do remember sometimes winning very few points and sometimes losing a lot too. I have no idea what it depends on, maybe your exp level, or based on how far apart the average is for both teams. And maybe there's individual differences within a team too.

I don't think his rank in the first match made much of a different tho. D: got -65 in that one I think and -56 with the silver account. I'm guessing the game haven't quite decided where I belong yet.

You can't drop out of gold, even if you drop all the way to 3-digits. But I'm pretty sure we can all reach the next level at 2500, which is platinum(not diamond, silly me).
