No because now this sparks some confusion. I need somebody to clarify if we are talking about Natsu or END. Cuz to me, they are two completely different people.
Natsu Dragneel's most powerful form as a human is probably not much greater than Laxus himself. END is an entity that is unknown, therefore, cannot be used when determining power rankings.
We don't know how strong END is, although he is the strongest Etherious demon, it doesn't mean he cannot be taken down by Acnologia or a Spriggan single-handedly. We assume because of the hype, but without it, we don't know where he lies.
Gray in the other hand, you are reserved to your right btw, but he suffered the same amount of collateral damage as Nastu, if not greater. Unlike Natsu and Gajeel who ended up forming a duo tag team against Torafusa and Tempesta, Gray was up against the 3rd or 4th strongest demon by himself.
You can say that Silver let him win, but the damage inflicted from the fight exceeded Natsu and Gajeel combined. In Natsu's fight, he was the first to give out, after Torafusa unleashed his black water. So he only sustained damage up until that point.
It is fair to say Gray had been fighting Tartaros main force, Keyes, was caught by Alegria, and confronted Silver by himself with no assistance. Afterwards, Gray went straight out and fought Tempesta at his strongest form, both base and Etherious Mard Geer, and absorbed Memento Mori at point blank shot.
Idc what you guys say, but the damage that Gray absorbed into his body was greater than Natsu, Gajeel, and Laxus combined in Tartaros Arc.
Again, you can't use Ajeel and Alvarez for evidence. We've hardly had anything to measure.
Sure, Laxus used his bolt of lightning to nullify that sandstorm.
Yes, Natsu evaporated the pit of sand.
And it was shown that Gray was able to also freeze the sand using his most basic and low level spell.
From what we can see, the three are pretty much tied at this point. We've seen Laxus and Natsu nullify Ajeel's attacks, but we haven't seen Gray in action yet so it is too hard to tell. As far as we've seen, Gray has fared just fine by himself against Ajeel. Gray just hasn't shown anything yet because there were only 2 chances to prove yourself so far, both of which was taken by Natsu and Laxus respectively.
As you saw in the recent chapter, Gray recalled Natsu's secret technique his bandaged arm, but Gray didn't in the slightest feel outclassed because he has his own thing to show, he just hasn't decided to show it yet. For all we know, it could be Demon Force, Demonization, or something of equivalent power.
Idk about Laxus, but in order for Gray to complete his goal at having a chance at defeating END (the goal he has been working on the past year), then Gray has to be near END or at the very least, not feel outclassed by sheer power of END himself.......?
