August would just run in circle in Racer + Meteor speed around Dragon Irene then spam her with an even stronger God Serena spamming.

Half dead Erza could blow Irene out of her Dragon form, August would be perfectly fine with her.

Brandish hyping Irene as the August equal is pure false hype, she haven't showed the fire power nor the defensive capabilities to make me believe such statement.

After reading and re-reading Alvarez hype, I'm getting confident that the gap between Larcade and Irene is not that big.

Btw, this thread is supposed to be about Laxus, why is it turning into a Irene vs August debate (which should off never be one to begin with) here?

Oh, I'm not implying that in any way, shape, or form can Irene one-shot August, unless Irene is suddenly boosted up tiers, she's not one-shotting August, that's an extreme diff fight where either Spriggan can come out with the win. But I do think Dragon Irene could one-shot Erza and Wendy without PIS or PoF getting in the way.



Completely agree. While I do think certain Spriggans may be able to stomp/one-shot each other (God Serena could likely one-shot Neinhart with a well placed and good attack, Dimaria one-shotted Brandish etc), but that certainly isn't the case with the top two. Either way it's extreme diff.

I do think that Irene would be smart enough to cast spells out of her staff if she's fighting in her Human form, she knows August's hax well and would likely do everything in her power to counter it.

I think August vs Eileen can go either way, based on how they behaved in the arc.
i.e, "in character".

But still, I think the fight ends in like a minute or two. There is no way it is taking a long time.
Cause dragon Eileen has physical stats to put him down, in a few hits if August doesn't use any defence spells (which he doesn't in character lol). And she is better in speed/CQC as well, generally speaking unless August uses meteor, speed magic, mind read etc (which also he won't in character lol)
But August just needs one clean blow to one shot her out of dragon form, and the fight basically ends there cause human Eileen gets CS treatment (there is literally nothing human Eileen can do to him).

So, "in character" August vs Eileen can indeed go either way, with August taking the W most of the times.

But, this is "in character" August vs Eileen.
Remove PIS and CIS all together, and August destroys her!

August is OP. Mashima didn't realize the beast he created while giving him the most hax ability to have ever existed. There is literally nothing better you can give a character, outright immunity from 99.9% of existing magic plus ability to master them instantly. WTF is that lmao?

I just don't go off about August, cause I'm sick and tired of the Spriggan wanks going on here lmao.

I honestly think he's even above base Zeref. But since manga outrght portrays that Zeref is stronger, I guess I'll just accept it

This, I should shake your hand for that. He literally master YOUR spell, then uses it with alot more mastery lmao. We never saw Gildarts turning himself into pieces to his advantage.

But still, he is incredibly stupid, same for Irene, Wahl, Larcade, God Serena, Dimaria and Jacob. Hiro made him so powerful the only way for him to go down is by committing suicide, that's cheap. I gotta give (for now) BDSK the shoutout to not been incredibly stupid like those Spriggans. But it was stated that Spriggan were created with such unfair magic that they should be impossible to beat.

Orgast... you take feckin Gildart's strongest attack, many would off blown like a balloon, felt literally no effect of it then decides to commit suicide, okay, why not? Irene had Erza at her mercy, she could off just finished her off with her own sword but suicide once again was a better option, so many cases of Spriggans not finishing off their opponents cause of cockiness and stupidity I'm getting pissed off alone.

Irene probably could have done that to Erza considering what she did by casually smacking her. That entire fight Irene was hindered by PIS for Erza and Wendy to win, and even then Irene had to off herself.

well the only (real from a certain perspective) PIS would be the end where Irene offed herself, with at least the second half of the fight, Erza had the buff from Wendy when she was in Irene's body so she could stand a chance.

I don't think any other Spriggan had much CIS though, other than what is usual in FT. Except Dimaria and Jacob lmao, coincidentally the two most broken Spriggans after August.

Eileen could've stomped Erza instead of using Sema on her. But I guess she was so angry thar she wanted to vape Erza lol. It's CIS, but somewhat acceptable.
Her committing suicide was also poorly executed, but at least in a round about way we can see why she did it.

August on the other hand, literally tanked Gildarts' ONLY means of damaging him (which shouldn't even have worked in the first place, cause August knows Miidnight magic) And he committed suicide. Why lmao
August is probably the most retarded character in the series (it's either him or Zeref lol), but he's portrayed as this wise old man

To be fair August was caught by surprise by the nature of his magic being revealed and recklessness of Gildarts actions that allowed for them to attack him, and that August was angry too with how his life was without love of parents, I don’t know about CIS for Dimaria and Jacob.
