END was hyped to be a threat to Acno. To the point Igneel said Acno feared him. The END form was only partial we see that when his hands go in and out of his demonic form. We also know his partial dragonification in DC is also tied to his END roots as Animus called him that when Natsu killed him in that form.

Natsu also held back against a bloodlusted Gray who had slayer advantage over Natsu. So END is a lot stronger than the one shown against Gray and he is pretty much stated to be resistant to hax by Mashima.
