Question Let's talk about Zeus

Anyone else got questions like me?

Quick rundown. Zeus is a homie created by Big Mom using portions of her own soul. Zeus has his own personality after coming alive and turns out to have a gluttony side like Big Mom which caused him to favor Nami due to her feeding him and being nice overall which in turn branded him as a traitor by Big Mom's other main homies. He was almost eaten by Hera, his replacement but somehow found refuge in Nami's climtact and now is basically fused with it and she can summon him at will.

Zeus is a powerful entity capable of high speeds and great damage. I was wondering, will he "die" if big mom dies? When a person dies, their vivre card turns to ashes as their lifeforce is linked. Big mom is in a magma chamber now. Some says she is dead, afterall Akainu's magma fist took off Whitebeard's face. But because he was the strongest man doesn't mean he has more durability than Big Mom. I am not asking if Big Mom is dead. I am asking, if Big Mom dies, will Zeus also be lifeless and just be a regular lightning cloud and basically cease to exist?

Without a doubt, Zeus is a thunderhead but what kind of weakness does he have? He was born from a devil fruit and it seems like Brook can damage soul based homies due to his own soul powers but since Zeus is born from a df, what if a seastone is attached to Nami's climatact? Can that prevent Zeus from animating or kill him altogether?

Lastly, I was wondering since Zeus is a cloud, will Nami be able to ride him like the flying nimbus the same way Big Mom was able to ride him? That would be so sick if Nami can do that later on. That said, if Zeus is a flying thunderhead, can extra strong winds dissipate him? My final question, shouldn't he be able to rain? Was there ever a panel showing him to produce rain?

It doesn't seem like homies' lives are contingent on big mom being conscious.. It's not a stretch that homies can exist on their own even with a diseased big mom. We even saw the candy homie big mom made at her territory having the capacity to live even while submerged. Homies simply don't work under the same logic as moria's zombies. I suppose that the logic here is that big mom's ability is independent of the lifespan which fuels homies.

Okay I'm gonna take a stab since I've thought about this before too.

• Zeus should not have a weakness to seastone or water, at least from example homies we have already seen. Remember, Big Mom turned Perspero's candy slug into a homie that was literally on the ocean. I'd assume the same applies to other homies but we'll have to wait and get confirmation.
• Technically Zeus is no longer a thunder cloud, he is the climatact itself. He was originally a thunder cloud since Big Mom merged that piece of soul with a cloud. Now that piece of soul is merged with the climatact itself which is why he can change the shape/size of the climatact. He can take cloud form now only because the climatact can create clouds. This makes me assume that Zeus can also take the form of other things the climatact can produce like wind but again we'll have to wait to see where Oda takes this.
  • This also should have implications on your Zeus weakness question. Homies are susceptible to any type of attack that impacts what ever the soul has been merged with e.g. homies that had physical bodies could be physically hit and defeated. The thing that made Zeus as cloud and Prometheus hard to fight is they are made from naturally intangible materials (cloud, flame) giving them logia properties without the haki weakness since they don't have a physical body underneath it all. Now that Zeus is a physical object, the climatact, anyone should be able to hurt him by damaging the climatact itself.
• In theory Nami should be able to ride Zeus like Big Mom since he can take the form of a cloud created by the climatact. Heck Nami should be able to produce these types of clouds independent of Zeus since they exist in Sky Islands. They just wouldn't have sentience so she wouldn't be able to navigate them.
  • I think strong winds wouldn't dissipate him depending if Nami produces durable clouds with the climatact. However, I could see strong winds being used to force him to fly in a specific direction.
• Zeus should be able to produce any weather effect the climatact can produce. He is now one with the climatact, which we know can produce rain and wind so I expect to see Zeus play a part in those the same way he played a part when the climatact produced thunder clouds.
• Can homies live if Big Mom dies? That is a good question. I personally think they would live since they are their own beings once they are created. We already know each piece of soul is a literal piece of lifespan so I don't think homies depend on the person they came from to survive. If they did it would also open a can of worms, since we'd have to ask what is the main soul? Is it the largest mass of the original that is left? Imagine a person gets 99% of their lifespan taken and a homie is created. Does the person die when the homie dies? I would think not so by the same merits I think it would be the same the other way around, if the person dies the homie doesn't die. I also think we've seen an example of one of the giant pirates having a homie shield, which may have been a product of Mother Caramel who is now dead.

So, do you think Zeus can support other people standing on him or not? To me it seems like he can because Big Mom has stood on top of Zeus before. The only explanation any character said so far was that Big Mom could only stand on him because he had her soul energy. However, that seems incorrect to me because he has to have actual physical tangibility to be stood on in a logical way. He must be semi-intangible except perhaps when nobody is standing on him.
