It was really starting to grow on me and it was getting good, especially the last chapters.
What a shame...

Not a huge surprise to see the series go. The last few chapters seemed to have Niko getting over most of her issues, so the series can end as naturally as one could expect. I hope the author comes back in the future with an even better series.

R.I.P. But at least it'll be able to have a semi-satisfying conclusion, with Niko getting over her hatred of men and all.

Lock On was missing something very important to me, that was backgrounds. All we are given are the characters moving around and speech bubbles. The backgrounds were completely white and boring a majority of the time, it was so hard to look at. The story might have improved but if I'm only thinking about the non existent artwork, I can't enjoy the manga.

It was kinda lacking in plot too, reminds me of Doraemon and Nobitas daily story in a sense.

Shame, I really liked Sanada as the main character. He was pretty interesting and there was so much they could've done with that Shutter Eye of his. Niko was also funny.
I must admit, the manga lacked plot and progress, and that's why it's done in I guess.

It's a shame, it was really starting to get good and the art also got better.

It was a pretty nice ending. It wasn't as choppy as most forced endings are, anyway.

It was a nice (but short) ride. The ending was ok and pretty much represented the essence of this manga.

The last page was really cute, heh

Yep, it ended nicely. We weren't sure what kind of manga it was going to be at first, and I'm glad it went down the romantic comedy route. If they had tried to make it some sort of battle series or a true slice of life thing I would have gotten tired of it pretty fast.

great comic! read it 3x already...
sanada's character reminds me of the guy in full metal panic. a guy coming from another world with no sense of romance.

and... niko's (outside and inside) pretty cute...

my only complain is that it ends in at a cliff hanger >.<

it'd be nice if tsuchida sensei would resume this work at a later point... ;p

ps - as for plot and progress, i don't think it really needs any... but i guess it'd be quite sad if people get bored of it after a while if nothing ever goes on >.<

It wasn't the greatest manga but I did enjoy and looked forward to reading it. I was hoping to hear how Sanada got his right eye, his tutor, plus some development between Yuki and Yamato; it was too bad those weren't touched upon. Glad to see that Niko realized her feelings for Sanada though!

Hopefully Tsuchida-sensei will come back in the future.

I'll forget about this series, nothing really caught my attention. But the ending was satisfying and it's one of the most important parts of a story. Maybe if this series had more of a informational part. Learn more about cameras and photography while keeping the audience entertained by ecchi stuff and what not. That could have been a direction in a future arc but it's too late now. Bye bye Lock On! :bye

well i think that if he decides to resume this manga, then adding all those nitty gritty details wouldn't be a problem...

but yeah... i'm gonna miss this manga =(

The series didn't have much going for it aside from Sanada's quirkiness. The complete lack of backgrounds hurt it aesthetically for me, but I found the story somewhat sweet in a completely hackneyed way...for some reason it didn't bother me much though. Well, hopefully Tsuchida will learn from this and come out with something better.
