With all the mystery and discussion around the character I just thought I'd make an thread for him.
Whether he's innocent or guilty.
Whether he's going to be an antagonist or not.
Of course his relationship with Lola.
Him wanting to cause Ragnarok if it's metaphorical or not.
The mystery of his DF.
Plus the real world mythology behind Loki(s) and how it pertains to this version.
As the way he was introduced he certainly going to be a big player in Elbaph.

So as you can see there's a lot to talk about with this character.

I think he is going to be an anti hero of sorts. What is the purpose to be king anyways if you're going to destroy everything? Also as he is supposedly the god of mischief, he might just be a dick all around but I know a couple people like that who are just great people, their delivery just need a lot of help. I can see how maybe when growing up some of Loki's jokes went too far and instead of learning from it he just got more self centered as everyone is picking on him. He has to be strong for himself if everyone thinks he is accursed. He's gonna be one ragey angsty dude for sure but at the same time I can see this guy sharing a meal of wild wolfchops with Luffy out there below that prison castle. I wonder if there are other prisoners chained up like Loki nearby but it makes more sense to make him a special case.

I think ultimately I might let the meal decide for me if it happens. Once people share food with Luffy, he is your buddy which basically means you're a good guy. Idk if Loki is truly a "good guy" with or without the meal but I think him being an antihero would be much much cooler. He may be like a person who'd feel that 2 wrongs don't make a right..but it sure as fuck makes you feel a lot better. Someone who isn't so nice but not evil.

I think he will actually get along with Luffy. There is probably more to him killing his father for this super fruit then we know so far. Plus, Luffy usually fights enemies from the old generation, pirates/marines/whatever, almost all al from the old generation, Loki would probably be close to Luffy's age, in giant years (he was born when Big Mom was a kid).

Of course, there is Hairudjin, who seems to be Loki's brother, maybe he will become the ruler of Elbaph if Loki is really a villain and the Strawhats will be against him. He did enter the tournament to get the Mera Mera no Mi, probably so he could have a better change to confront Loki. We still need more info on Loki and Elbaph as a whole though, there are to many unclear things still.

Personally I kinda feel like it'd be so lame to have Hajrudin consume a df. Much rather see him just get more powerful and using Brute strength (as a giant should) to confront Loki. On the other hand I don't mind at all for Loki to have a df but also I think it'd also if he didn't that'd be awesome too. The battlefield is getting too populated with DFs popping up everywhere. If his weapon or armor ate the df, that'd be pretty cool as that kind of stuff, to me is as rare as mythical zoans. I mean what if he is the Sun God because he is in possession of a legendary weapon that has mythical powers...as a god of Asgard should? What if this is how Mjolnir will be introduced? I get that the hammer is associated with Thor's lightning and such but it's a fun idea.

I still think that having CoC can be a optional but huge boost for a heir of Warland to become the next king but if Loki doesn't have that then being in possession of a grand weapon would be enable him to check off a different box just like if Hajrudin won the Mera Mera.

If the theory that Shanks is the one that imprisoned him is true I can see him being a redeemable antagonist.

Loki gives me a combination of both Kidd and Doflamingo vibes.
I'm going to bet that him he was a Yonko contender before he got in prisoned.
Was a rival to Shanks and fought Roger at one point.

So with the 1136 confirm that Shank was the one to stop Loki.
And that he was invited to join the HK in the present but turned it down.
Some people believe that this makes him a good guy but to me this doesn't really prove anything. He could have easy turned them down cuz he thought they were lying. Or said no out of pride like a lot of other characters would.
