i disagree.. i think lucchi would win the fight because i also think that he is stronger than luffy too and he wouldnt have lost if luffy wasnt the main character
zoro is not so hot when it comes to speed.. he is physically strong and could get stronger with his new sword, but i dont think he can do much against lucchi at his current level

in many ways he beat kuma by doing what he did. not in a fight per se but in terms of helping luffy and the crew the most. if zoro hadn't offered to take his place, the entire strawhat crew could have been destroyed. that's a win if you ask me.

odz was a group battle, and the strawhats beat him. so what if he knocked them down a few times... they got back up. fights not over until you can't get up again. and luffy got into the mix and finished the job before they could.

enel doesn't count because he just got handled from afar with one of those lightning strikes and wiper was fighting enel at the same time. in an honorable mano a mano battle, zoro hasn't lost since mihawk.

What i really wanna say is that this promise doesn`t count if he fight against Luffys enemies and if he loses there then it is not so bad. Arrrh i hope you know what i mean think your part by yourself

This is kinda familiar to me that he loses to luffys enemies and that this is not so bad because he beat the shit out of his enemies.I know this post is totally weird but everybody can see that this is the way.

i was genuinely stating my opinion on those things, and this is a "what if" thread so pretty much everyone is just "yapping".

anyway, we don't know if he could beat them or not because luffy did it first. and by bringing up the idea of an "honorable mano a mano fight" i was referring to the bushido idea, thus= swords.

when zoro said he would never lose again he also said that the man who would be pirate king can't have under him a guy who won't be the greatest swordsman. so while zoro said he wouldn't respect luffy if he wasn't the strongest, he also expects himself to be the best if he continues to be one of luffy's nakama. this is the whole bond of friendship between the two of them, and why zoro so adamantly stood up to kuma in luffy's place.

so yeah, against people like lucci, who don't use swords, its up for grabs. but if it came down to it, and zoro was the only one left to fight lucci, i believe he would fight to the death to protect luffy's dream. and that's why i think he would beat that leopard-man down. but that's just my opinion.

I would like to discuss this further, but I already wrote everything I got about this before.
Luffy always sets himself to fight against oponents which others can't beat.
I like Zoro and he's almost my favourite character, but he couldn't beat Lucci at that time. Lucci would have a hard time with him thats for sure.

For what we just saw in the fight against duval, zoro still hasnt recovered from taking all of luffy's fatigue and damage, so right now i dont think he could win, but once he completely recovers and gets used to the heavy sword (probably already happened) he will beat lucci for sure.

Zoro using Asura would make him alot more stronger and people Zoro wasn't moving super fast it was his Aura just like luffy now has aura Zoro had it long before. I don't see how the idea of moving his heads and arms to make 3 heads and 6 arms makes sense to anyone its the dummest thing ever. Kaku and the marines saw Zoro's AURA which does exist in the world of one piece.

Also Zoro with his new sword would easily pawn gear 3 in power and using techniques well oz saw how powerful that was so lucci couldn't handle gear 3 power so in terms of strength Zoro would beat him, but speeds the only issue. But then Ryumma was a fast swordsmen and franky couldn't even see Zoro's counter attack so Zoro has increased in speed. Look at how he attack Kuma with his lion song attack.

So in raw power Zoro pawns Lucci

Speed is debateable but after Zoro is fully healed with full mastery of the extra damage the Lucci would be pawned by Zoro.

try moving your head side to side and arms up and down so it looks like you have 6 arms and 3 heads before you say its not the dummest they you heard

and didn't you not see the clouds split due to Shanks and WB fighting auras

So Zoro making illsuions with his aura is more than plausable far more than the idea of him moving his head and arms to make it look like that and plus Zoro was standing still not moving when using asura
