Damn this is hard lol. GMG has only DF and LFM. Lucy has star dresses, can summon 3 spirits. I'll just pick Lucy but high to very high diff

Mmmh... Well i'll go for Natsu here, because DF is unrestricted. With DF he should take it mid diff.
If we assume Natsu can't enter DF, i'll say Lucy wins high diff.

Lucy win easy or mid-diff. She can do exacly the same like to Jackal. Water Shield and Urano Metria.

Lucy has only beaten Jackal in his base form. Natsu has beaten Jackal in his etherious form. Natsu also has better attack power, durability, and hand to hand combat than Jackal. Not to mention, dragon force isn't restricted. He would just run through the water shield (he's ran through Genesis Zero before), and use hand to hand combat like he did Mard.
It would take high diff for Lucy to take down Natsu in his base mode, and extreme diff in lightning mode.
Dragon Force would be out of her league, unless she has Mard Geer+ durability.

I agree with Axiomus, but god damn i just got reminded of Gemini. Im pretty sure current Lucy is superior to GMG Natsu in terms of MP, thus she can copy him with Gemini. The fight is pretty one sided then.

GMG Natsu = Jackal. They draw in battle and Happy saved the day. Jackal dont even go etherious mode because Urano Metria kill him. The same will be with Natsu.

Only if we ignored everything about how their fighting ability was depicted. Natsu was far superior than Jackal when it came to actual combat. He basically terrorized him in base form. I'm sorry, but it's not even close. Look at how the chapter depicted Natsu and Jackal exchanging fists. This is not even close to being even handed. Even when Jackal entered Etherious form, Natsu was able to block all of Jackal's attack and floor him.
The only reason Natsu even received damage was because Jackal had the ability to turn whatever touched him into a bomb. Needless to say, this is an ability that Lucy does not have. If Natsu punched Lucy around like I showed above, she wouldn't be able to turn him into a bomb. Not to mention, this entire thing was reliant on Natsu going out of his way to touch Jackal. If he simply used a lightning dragon roar, which should be just as powerful as lightning dragon's firing hammer, he would have taken Jackal without ever touching him.

I would put her on the same level (albeit slightly higher) as Natsu's lightning fire mode, but there's nothing to suggest she is going to be tanking blows from DF Natsu. DF Natsu was capable of taking out Zero and ToH Jellal. Lucy hasn't beaten anyone on that level yet.

You do know that Natsu didn't have DF in the GMG and the DF in the past arcs of him defeating powerful foes were temporary power ups right? So Natsu won't be using DF hereIs she? Don't forget that currently, Lucy can not use Aquarius as she doesn't own her anymore. If i remember correctly this Water Shield during Tartaros was used by Aquarius, and if that's really the case, Lucy can't use this here.

Well, it's really only a 2 week difference between Tartarus and GMG. I have no problems with choosing to restrict DF though.
Try to run through it? I can accept that the shield would protect Lucy from explosions and fire, but it's still water. There's no reason Natsu couldn't try to run through it. We've seen him tunnel through metal and stone before.

Also it may be water but its shown to be powerful due to the amount of magic Lucy have in her Star Dress which is a no brainer to know that the more magic a mage has, the more powerful their spells are which is how it is there. I would say Lucy is much stronger than Base Natsu then but probably not with LFDM though

Natsu was only damaged by the effect of Jackal's curse, which turned the parts of his body that touched Jackal into bombs. You can tell where the curse is happening due to the marks. Obviously, having your body part turn into a bomb itself is a lot harder to defend against than simply tanking an explosion. I would actually say Lucy (current) is stronger than both base Natsu and LFD Natsu. Lucy was more effective against Brandish than LFD Natsu was against Mard Geer. My point is that Natsu was way stronger than Jackal. Natsu in that arc went on to fight Franmalth, Tempester, and Mard Geer before he finally ran out of power.
