I'd give it to Lucy high-extreme diff. Wendy's been really impressive lately, but I don't know, i just re read Lucy vs Brandish and she was really impressive. She was very fast, like really and her strategies were awesome she thought really fast too, she always knew what to do. Plus I think Urano metria is enough to take care of Wendy,I can see her overwhelming Wendy with her succesion of spirit summoning, then go Aqua Metria and while Wendy is kept busy by AM (Brandish, even if not serious, had to reduce it IMO and could not just walk away, even if it was not that dammaging), she use UM and finish her


When i wrote that I realised I could also make a case for Wendy winning. Guess I can't really decide for now ^^

How do you know that Gemini can copy Wendy? We have no proof that Lucy has surpassed Wendy in terms of Magical Power.

If anybody is going to argue regarding mp difference, please recall all the way back to OS arc. Wendy can't barely hold on healing 2 people, Lucy already had feats (summon 5 spirits simultaneously, force gate, urano) to show she has more mp.

Dragon force is a spell enhancing the abilities of the user and power, not to enlargen pool/source of magic of the user. Too much credit is being given to DS magic for nuking and all that, but CS magic is the most versatile one.

No feats to show that Gemini is capable of copying wendy?? These vs. threads are all theoretical based on the given the capablilities of the characters and restrictions. I don't think mashima will ever make a copy of wendy, but we all know they could.

And even without copying wendy, marlin gemini + any spirits other than the comedic ones (taurus, virgo, cancer) would give wendy a hard time, even if wendy got the speed and strength from df.

Yes, but what about Lucy's feats against Mary and Marin? At the end of the day, Bluenote would be considered a top tier before the 1 year timeskip, and Dimaria is a Spriggan 12. Mary would have been a fodder no matter which arc she is from, and Marin is a subordinate of Brandish. I'm willing to overlook a character's poorer performances, and judge them by their best. This is why I don't hold it against Lucy for being subdued by Mary or Marin. But likewise, we should offer Wendy the same benefit of doubt.

Wendy can block Irene's fireball enchantments and Dimaria's all out attack. She was able to enchant a weapon strong enough to knock Irene out of her dragon form. Even accounting for a dragon slaying advantage, Erza's slash has to be at least as strong as AF Natsu's pucnh against Motherglare. We're also kind of forgetting that Wendy can enchant herself into another person. The point on compatibility might not even be that large of an issue. From the reveals in the latest chapter, It doesn't look like Irene was incapable of enchanting herself into Erza. She was simply was unable because of love. If this is true, then the fact Wendy could enchant herself into Irene means there's a good chance she might be able enchant herself into Lucy.

I think the only reason why compatibility was not an issue for Irene trying to enchant herself into Erza because Erza actually came out of her womb. The direct daughter-mother relationship is likely a large factor in their compatibility since they are closely related by blood.

I happen to believe that compatibility plays a large role for enchanters, especially in some kind of internal form, such as similarity in magic, power, or DNA.

Otherwise, I think you summed up that post pretty well, as I agree with most of it.

I wonder if Wendy's enchantments can go stronger when she's in DF. Because we only see her cast enchantments when in base. When in DF, she only relies on Sky DSM. I wonder why Hiro doesn't do that. Because by definition of DF, her enchantments should go stronger as well. Imagine Wendy raising all her stats while in DF. That would be some serious shit. And if she ever got a hold of Sage DSM, she will be quite op.
