yea saw them on Saturday...i seen alot of bands i listed them 2 pages ago i think..but they are the best band i seen live ..plus they are my fav band been a fan for 10years now.

i like female singers in metal you heard of Rolo Tomassi if not
I love turbalance - Rolo

she is epic plus she hot in real life still bit strange hearing a girl goin scremo that deep live

@BBB Banana- Yeah man. I used to train heavily every day and it just resulted in me getting lots of blisters/sprained wrists/fingers and all I got was a little improvement. The moment I just let the music and desire to play take over was when I actually started to get better at playing my bass. No point in traveling if you've got no destination in mind.

Yea I love female screamers/growlers but they can get VERY creepy sometimes. I never heard of them before, they are a little too Avant Garde for my taste and a bit too screamo. And what makes her creepy is that she sings and screams in that avant garde way but she looks so innocent .

What I mostly like is stuff like Fireflight - Unbreakable. Now thats a bit on the lighter side, yet I really like the emotion I get from those vocals. Thats something I find to be one of the bright sides to a female vocalist is that they portray emotion very well into their lyrics. Now that I think about it I don't actually have too many female growlers on my IPOD list....hmmm. I do like female growlers but many of them are iffy as I explained above.

get what you mean tho ..i was same at first but then i starting gettting into more more propa metalcore now im used to it n like it. i started off with bands like 36 crazyfists, Ateryu, Machine head and now im into stuff like Of Mice And Men

Well I went tough half of your list tomorrow I'll go trough the rest cuse I'm a bit sleepy now so I won't remember what I hear.

I like a lot of them speacially the first two. they have some of my fave guitarrists in there George Lynch, Malmstem, Vai.

I think I should hear more stuff by the G3 as I am a huge Vai fan. And maybe I could go and see satriani live next month

The G3 lineup changes slightly each year, the only real constant is Steve Vai I think... Or was it Satriani...hmhmh. They've had Malmsteen, Roth, Pettrucci, Johnson, etc... in their ranks.

I like metalcore, but thats not screamo thats why , lol.

I saw 36 Crazyfists live before they were big like they are now . I've seen all of those bands you listed live except for for Of Mice and Men. They aren't too bad actually, the vocals are teetering on being screamo but just not there yet. I may actually look into them a bit more just for kicks.

I think I need to make a list of all the bands I've seen, let me go work on it .

I used to listen to Post-hardcore but I find it boring now Maybe I listened to much of it back then.
I still listen to it from time to time though.

I always thought that screamo was a sub-genre of post hardcore.

That is indeed awesome! I hope nothing happens to make them resent each other over the next year because knowing the way that they have had high tensions in the past anything could happen. But at least its great to see that they have something planned. SOAD all the way baby!!!

bah SOAD went sucky after toxicity.

i prefer serji tankian on his own his two albums are brill.

strange im sure serji kept saying he wont bother with SOAD anymore he enjoys his solo work..meh

Yeah,i think he mentioned that he wants to continue for 1 1/2 years.
It's kinda odd,but we'll see.

Ehh, Serj has some good songs on his own but its just not the same. I love toxicity but I also love the two newer albums. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about those. I think Serj has another album of his own coming out this fall as well. I do want to get it because I obviously still like him as I said but the band together as a whole is much better than just Serj. Mesmerize and Hypnotize FTW!!!

Oh I wish they would do an european Big4 tour but that's unlikelly both Megadeth and Metallica came here like two-three months ago so it will take a while for them to come back.

I saw both Metallica and Megadeth but seeing them together would be twice as awesome.
