This game was largely designed around trialling the new Serial Killer as well as trying out a new role, the Clown. Despite being solo parties, we thought it would be interesting to see if the comp itself rather than specific roles could aid and hamper these two parties. There was a faux mafia party in three death millers, as well as a freeman that the two non-towns could hide behind. We deemed this little core of semi-pro-towns necessary for the single SK to hide behind + create some competition for the Clown in terms of sus candidates. Police Officer is there to catch the criminal serial killer (only the workday of the cop ends around dinner while the serial killer prowls around at midnight ).

We thought the standard core of Doc, Det and Prost complemented by Cowboy would be sufficient for the town to win with, aside from their numerical superiority. Troublemaker is a double-edged sword involved for everybody. NVD and Bomb are passed along town and can completely debilitate any of the TP's; especially the Bomb could have coldly ended the careers of either one of them. The strongest asset Town had was their numbers; SK would have to survive 4~5 phases whereas Clown has to inversely fight impatience while getting lynched early. If not, the town has enough bodies to throw at the Clown timer.

Overall, maybe aside the PO, we thought the comp was relatively balanced; it was also pretty close. The Clown almost died D1 but then deflated around D5. DD was on the chopping block the whole game, and could have still died rather easily had the last vote been unplaced or just stacked on Faust. Very entertaining! Hope to see all of you guys next game again.​

Why? Last couple games had several vanillas. As there should be imo. Anything other than their role bothering you?

Why DD?

Sounds really scummy from what I read of him D1. I usually do well in pinpointing town DD and don‘t feel it this game so far. Could go post by post of his and pinpoint but hard on phone. I‘d lynch him today.

2nd option I‘d lynch is Faust, he was active yet his reaction to James revealing Doc is so weird, despairing yet he has a vote to help him. Feigning and faking?

Makes sense. If I’m being honest, my thinking is similar too.

For me mostly going by hunch as none seems to have done any fuckups yet,
My sus list would be
1. Faust seems to be laying low avoiding the heat
2. Holt too inactive
3. DD

That being said how one approaches playing clown? Act quiet or normal in day1 and suddenly change behaviour to act intentionally act sus? To get lynched?

What other could one approach playing this role?

A lot can be done, but we probably shouldn‘t publicly give them suggestions. I believe we can notice it if we see it, unless we switch near end and lynch him by accident before he speaks.

Sure, they share claims, but going only with that and not checking their "journeys" is quite superficial. What makes Asako worse than wojak if you say you're overall against the idea of 2+ vanillas in game but still made a pick twice between them? I don't think I saw a reason for putting her on top of him (hurr) nor what you think about each individually

What‘s the sense in „x vanilla per y game size“? I don‘t agree with your logic, we could be half vanillas. It really doesn‘t matter.

I refuse to lynch vanillas just because they‘re roleless town. For all we know people on active/passive claims are lying, having a claim they can fit to roles as we go doesn‘t make them any better than vanillas.

If anything I‘m disappointed all 3 just claimed instead of baiting mafia kills. Or hell, at least make it harder for them to find the good roles by not saying „I‘M NOT WORTH KILLING“

And nah don't see the point in talking more about my role right now

D1 votes. James claimed Doc with some time still to go I believe, yet it didn‘t make anyone hesitate. Not even Farfalla who I remember on multiple occasions to not want to risk D1 Doc claims when they‘re being lynched.

Sam had the most ok vote of James, Brand never elaborated on why he „didnt believe him“ and I forgot Asako‘s reason for voting.

Weird votes overall by people. I don‘t remember most Brandish vote reasons, if there were any.

I‘ll make a crackpot theory and shout out DD, Faust and maybe Tatsu as the mafias. Probably not that simple though.

Haven‘t seen anyone looking like an obvious clown player(the role I mean). May be waiting to see how game develops at first and actively attempt to get lynched on D3 or D4.
