...that's actually a possibility that I didnt think of. I really thought that Imp was a mentor and that Gary was his mentee (who used to be a freeman).

Why would the Mentor recruit the Freeman?

No he isn't. Think about it...why would someone claim they're a Healthy Townie on Day 2, AFTER there was no Infected at night, no kill at night, and after Leo claimed he was Detective and was blocked. There's absolutely no evidence of a Sickly Townie in this game, so why would Haku, a smart guy, claim a Bastard Role?
