I was waiting on demon saying something. A detective out in the open and Muimadara possibly being the second detective is definitely a sucky situation. I mean that is exactly what a mafia would say to save his skin and then sacrifice the "the role" so it is hidden for longer what it was. I lean on believing Demon to be honest. Unless he just went into high risk mode I don't see him lying

I would expect detective to be a bit more reservent until he had some results.
