I'm also a newbie and I wasn't mafia in my 1st game. So there's no such a rule, it's just part of the game to try to accuse or to prove's one innocence. You had a certain role which was obviously not easy to play and it's the haziness due to it that made you look suspicious. you should'nt take it personnaly, it's just the way the game is, it happens every game that a townie ends up wrongly lynched (btw, none of the other players voted for you I was the only one, you were not even lynched).

It was supposed to be funny & and was not mean to hurt anyone, I really was so happy to see you playing, didn't expect you to feel offended, nobody intended to do so.
Sorry if I have hurt in any way, I've never meant to be nasty, I really feel so bad about it.

You should see my acting of last game as an insane detective while I was the Mafia Janitor murdering the townies in two nights, I should have gotten an oscar for that one. XDDD

Anyway, I consider me being the first victim as some sort of respect sign. I am too dangerous to be left alive for too long. *nods wisely*

Well yeah. It just still boggles my mind, that Kat actually made it a race with nothing concrete and people bought it. Would have been a different thing though, if I didn't have the penalty vote. Unlucky with that.

Not allowed to talk of the game, but if my estimations hold mafia just won. Not going in detail why.

Well mafia can't let you live after all(if you are really good as you said ) and your role was kinda important too.

The hardest part is at the start who to vote for, who to trust and who to go for if you got an night/day action. Once one/two days are in, you notice stuff like people working together despite never having talked much with each other in the forum or claims that makes no sense or people coming out in hopes of getting towniesto herd around them to get a supoosely mafia member killed, etc.

My role "can" be useful but also pretty harmful. Very useful towards the end when mafia and townies have close numbers. But for that I would have needed to live longer, find out who is prostitute, detective or barkeeper, etc to find myself into a townie group to know who to not use my ability on and who might be a mafia scumbag who tries to get us lynched to save themselves. I admit though, I really wanna be detective someday and hopefully not insane at that. Or host a game myself, perhaps with the "Blind Santa" as my own NPC who gives away random presents at random people at the start/every night to make the game even more crazier than it already is.^^

Yeah, your arguments made the most sense. No way a Mafia would claim a role so early on, especially such a new one with such complicated rules. That said, how was it being Barkeeper? My original plan had been to make it a Barkeeper+ Host combo, kinda like lovers but without the kill each other when the other one dies aspect, but thus also dividing the power the current barkeeper has. Useful? Interesting? Any ideas what to tweak on it perhaps?
