I like the vampire idea. Just add a "Van Helsing" to balance things. He could choose a target per night, and if the target is a vamp he kills him. If not, then nothing happens. Also obviously the head vampire dies if he tries to bite Van Helsing.

The Van Helsing role should be randomed i.e. both townies and mafias can be it.

It seems like this game has...stopped.


Maybe give the players two week off after this game. we have played 6 games in a row after all, people are probably fed up with it now.

So I'm on the train, bored as hell, trying to think of roles for the game. They totally suck. Why not post them?

Insane Traitor (no, I'm not just talking about DD..)

Starts the game thinking he knows who the four mafia are, when in fact it's just four random players who could just as well be Townies. Thinks he's on the mafia side, but can only win with Townies. Basically useless except for causing confusion in the first round. -_-'

Can examine the mental state of one player per night. I.e. Sane, Insane, Naive, maybe traitor as well, blargh. Boring role.

Don't know what to call this guy. Gets one try per night to guess all the mafia members right, and when he does, he joins the mafia. Can only win with the mafia, but will show up as a Townie in investigations. He's like a reverse traitor, yet not really. I know I'd find it fun to be this guy, at least.

This guy is dangerous as shit. Anyone who targets him during night gets killed, because he's unstable and paranoid and thinks everyone wants to kill him. He can't choose his own targets. So basically, if a mafia goes for killing him, the mafia dies. If a detective wants to investigate him, detective dies. Etc. This is the one I could actually see in the game. It's just so fecking dangerous.

nice one, but needs more restrictions.

I've also been thinking about a role called.

Role Thief:

This person starts as a townie but can use a one shot ability during the night to steal someone else's role. If his target is mafia though he dies.

there's a simular one, that's called 'Bus Driver'. He chooses two players each night, and those two players' abilities are swapped for one phase. Ok, it's not rly simular but kinda reminds me of it
