6. Does the day end early when a certain majority is reached?

Yes, once. (There can be some specialities when it comes to a dead end tie though.)

2. Are mafia members allowed to communicate with each other during the day? How about after death?

No, they are not. They have the possibility to communicate in private at nights only. If there are any indications of breaking this rule the players will be disqualified and the game most likely ends.

3. Are there any special rules in place for the scenario of a mod kill?

I am implementing a few new rules to that issue in this game. One would be that a certain activity is required, i.e. a minimum amount of posts per day -I thought of 5-. Further rules will be announced before the game starts.

4. Is editing ones posts allowed?

Hm. Never beenconfronted with that yet. I prefere them not to be edited in contant that is, however this is hard to monitor for the host.

5. What happens in the event of a vote tie?

The day phase extends until the tie is broken. Like mentioned in 1 changing votes more than once might be tolerated. As last instance, if the players refuse to break the tie both gets lynched. But this is the very last solution, the host ought try everything to avoid that.

6. Does the day end early when a certain majority is reached?

After the regular time of the phase yes, in the case if some additional time has been given, for example if there was lack of activity or lack of votes, whatsoever. The day can end before the regular time too, if one player has one half of all players' votes +1. But even then I have been trying to not end it earlier, to give that one player the possibilty to defend himself and try to make the other players changing their vote. Only if there are signs of resignation of the one player I would end it earlier.
