Since it's not part of the discussion but a question related to a detail of the game, I'll ask here. And since it might be of interest to other players, I'd rather ask here than in a pm.
Is Thunderwave permanent ? Or does the character potentially touched by the attack recover his ability(ies) after a given period of time ?

Uhm no, once got by Thunderwave (recruited by the "Mason Recruiter") the status of the Pokemon changes permanently to Paralyzed (Role changes so "Mason").

Big amount of Trainers. In the later phases of the game with ~10 players left a shorter time span will do it too.

There are 14 Pokemon and the game started with 18 players so there's some people with the same Pokemon (roles) right? Are people like Orgz assuming there is more than one Growlithe (detective) because in past games there usually has been? Or because there are usually both a sane and insane variety? Does the same go for Chansey (doctor)? Does that mean there's only 4 Team Rocket members?...I'm confused

Usually we have one sane and one insane detective (the insane one gets different results, like... if the person is mafia, he'll get that the person is a townie); and one sane and one insane doctor (the insane one has a change to kill his target instead). I think that in this game more than one person has a ratata.

Well I know the difference between the functions of course, I just wasn't sure where the multiple Pokemon would be, but I guess that surprise is part of the fun.
