So out of of curiosity, are there any of the various roles mentioned in the first post used in the game? Like doctor etc. And if which one? Or is it just the townies against mafia?

I'm sure there will be some of the special roles. Detectives and doctors for sure. Not all roles, but some. Either Evil leaves it as a mystery to make the game more challenging, or provides a list at some point of the game.

Yeah yeah, there will be lot of roles used. We have enough players, so why limiting us just to two species?
List of roles used will not be published though, so you will have to be prepared to deal with all of them.

The neighbours muttered and the maids gossiped, Blakesley Manor for the first time in its history was the scene of a crime. Blakesley Manor was situated not far from the local village of Upton. It was home to the well-off Salisbury Family and their household staff. The Salisbury family were well connected in London but their influence was most keenly felt in the countryside were for generations the family has served as local Members of Parliament. The present heads of the family was Humphrey Salisbury and his heir Horace Salisbury. A young bachelor and a Member of Parliament, Horace’s moderate views and young charm made him one of the rising stars of Westminster and the last thing he needed at this stage of his career was a scandal and a scandal was just what this day was fast becoming. The Blakesley Manor drawing room was currently crowded with members of the local constabulary, their attention all focused on the corpse in the centre of the room. The corpse was bloody, broken and bruised and obvious victim of a heavy bludgeoning, the face of the victim however was mysteriously untouched. The body belonged to a local villager; the poor victim lived in an old hut on the outskirts of the village.

The body was found in the early hours of the morning after a dinner party hosted by Horace Salisbury. The body was found by Damian Butcher, the Salisbury’s footman. Attending the dinner were friends and distinguished neighbours. They included his father and brother, Humphrey and Oxlade. The two daughters of Sir Garside were also in attendance, Charlotte and Daisy. The Garside family was another well to do family living in Upton, not as well off as the Salisbury’s they were nevertheless important members of society. The youngest daughter of the family, Daisy, had caught the eye of Horace Salisbury and their relationship was setting the village alight with gossip. The Cavendish siblings were also present, Rufus and Amelia Cavendish. Rufus was an MP for the neighboring constituency and he shared a political (as well as personal) rivalry with Horace. Exceptionally polite, he would never have countenanced refusing a cordial dinner invitation. The local vicar Terrance Walpole was also in attendance, as was Margaret Callaghan an old lady who was once the Salisbury boy’s governess. Friends of Humphrey and Horace from London made up the rest of the group; they included the Watsons, a socialite couple that were old friends, Quentin Wilson, Owen Wilkinson and Dominic Gladstone all 3 who are involved in politics. The Salisbury Footman also mentioned seeing the notorious scoundrels lurking around the main road leading to the house, Clarence and Pubert Chamberlain.

The police were stumped. With politicians present this seemingly motiveless crime could soon escalate into a political scandal.

Hah, the names are not my creation. Some of the name were hilariously misspelt and I decided to leave Pubert because it just sounds better then Rupert (and to laugh at the misfortunate person who got the name).
