Hmmm is everyone going to be in the same area like in the victorian game we just play? Also how would you justify certain characters killing characters they would ordinarly never be able to kill.

First I thought that the players would be Houses and just that. But it wouldn't really work. I mean, a house wiping another house from the map and no one knows for sure who did it... So yes, it will be sort of like the Victorian game, though haven't most themes been like that.

Not sure what you meant with the character part. I won't be using characters from the series. For fairness sake. As much as I would like someone to play Hodor.

The backstory will be something like "It's time of truce, though there is tension in the air between the houses of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. Several major houses have sent their represantives to a neutral small castle to negotiate about the next step for peace. However, on the morning they find the messenger from house Frey dead with clear evidence that someone is not happy with the current terms. Now they must figure out who broke the agreement, who are behind the conspiracy"

let's just rewrite the story. Robert Baratheon is our king and there is a conspiracy to get the iron throne. few people around us want to get the throne and Jon Arryn was their first victim. And if we're rewriting the story that mean we can play as people from the tv show. the traitors could be a robb stark or even a tyrion if you get what i mean.

lmao. i do, i just didn't plays the recent games cuz most of the players i was familiar with disappeared and last 2 games i played were kinda dead. And things will never be the same without killing AI the first day

Well obviously. But at the same time I understand that it's a fandom where there are a lot of people who've read 7 books and watched 8 movies, and then some people know nothing about it. It probably wouldn't be fun for the latter mentioned. Therefore, I don't suggest it as a theme and don't push it.

I wouldn't care enough about any theme to not play it. Hell it could be a Brony theme...don't care. The game is what's important.

As to the point about HP/GoT, HP's just a lot more universal, so I think it's a better theme to use.

I just want either Code Geass or SAO, but not enough of you are willing to agree with that. It was completely separate from the above argument.

If you want to host...doesn't seem like anyone is jumping at the idea right now. Niichan said he would host a game before Ust if people were interested.

If the game was more closely related to "Middle Ages" with slight and unimportant GoT references, that might be ok. Ust might be the right person to pull it off, but I don't know. I just literally don't know anything about the characters, conflicts, or anything else in GoT.

I'm under the impression that's exactly what it would be




BTW, I love ignorant fanboyism. It makes the internet that much more worthwhile

I wouldn't care enough about any theme to not play it. Hell it could be a Brony theme...don't care. The game is what's important.

I'd prefer not to do a Brony theme, but I'd have less of a problem with that than with GoT. I just think that with GoT, we'll get all of the GoT fanboys/girls getting really into it because they <3 GoT and all...

I'm supposed to be hosting a Bleach tournament somewhere...

I don't know. There wasn't much roleplay in this game though. Half of us never even touched our roles, not even for the first day.
