I understand that but my points its true for the other thread as well. It it to a smaller degree of course but that is because the catch-all description of "discussion" gives this thread a bit of a free for all more than it can in the game thread. But the problem is still there.

Fair enough. What annoys me more is the game talk spilling over here.

Maybe it shouldn't be soft, Imp, and some rules could be stabilished? I mean, people just IGNORE when we ask to control the spam and to do not reveal things here xD So maybe Evil could have some non-official "event control" that after sometime would make people join the Hall of Shame as well?

If everyone is trusted enough to play, they should be trusted enough to understand when to post. It just needs to become a habit for everyone. So maybe just emphasising it regularly will do the trick.

It was public that I was mafia when I got killed so how did I give away any clues? I just said my question was sincere and not a part of any plan, then I said I thought it was really bad play to base a vote kill on that question. And in between I wrote "fucking" a lot of times.

I definitely think that tighter rules could be in place, both for here and for the Mafia Game thread itself. Out of the 91 pages in the Mafia Game thread, perhaps 20 of them are useful posts, the rest was spam. In terms of this thread, the only legitimate discussion that occurred here lately was the discussion we were having about whether or not starting with a Night phase as opposed to a Day phase would give us a different, and possibly better, experience.

Imp, not only do I agree with Gary's opinion about you having rose colored glasses, but have you ever been a moderator on one of these forums? I can definitely say from my experiences that people CANNOT be trusted to be responsible and appropriate.
