Discussion Mafia Game "Discussion" Thread v.5

Well, at this point, Gary, who knows anymore. It is true that Evil hasn't always made the game accurately reflect the OP, such as in our game where he nerfed the Mafia Detective, but then realized that it made the role pointless, so for later games, he restored the true power of the role, which meant that the OP was still correct.

There were third party roles in our game, which may have led to the Mafia Detective power changing. That was also the last game he hosted before this one. Digitaldude hosted the next two. I don't know how Mafia Detective are in this game though.

I cant seem to locate that image that Evil made of how the night phase roles are carried out. Does anyone have the post or picture?

Oh, yeah, there was a Serial Killer in our game.

I asked him a few days ago and he said that he reupped the Mafia Detective to its original power.

Here's the relevant post.

Mafia killing and mason recruiting happen during the same step, so I would guess that it's just a coin flip, but we'd need Evil's clarification here.

Evil never PMed us, so we never got to know exactly what happened there. :P

I knew we attempted to recruit shinsatsu, but as it was a coin flip according to Evil's rules, we never got to know whether shinsatsu was directly mafia or not.
