Scheduling

I‘ve been told that several people are planning to host games, so to avoid any problems like people cutting into each other‘s game signups and other things we may need a schedule of games.

For anyone who plans to host a game, you can either write in this thread for what month/day you‘re planning a game or edit it in the schedule yourself if you can.

Note that there‘s no limit to how many games can be had per month, but try not to have 2 games running at the same time.

Sign-ups!

To everyone who usually plays MG or those that don‘t want to miss signups, we‘re testing a new way to alert everyone to a new game instead of mass tags before each game.

All you have to do is go to >>this thread<< and press Watch on the top corner of the thread. I or a host will post there and notify everyone like this whenever a new game starts.

[Original Post]

While hosting overall isn't necessarily hard, it's very easy to mess things up as we have seen plenty of times already. This naturally happens more often with newer hosts.

In order to get these new hosts familiar with how the game works behind the scenes and make it a smoother experience for everyone (no one wants a cancelled game!), we are establishing these sets of rules that follow the methods that have been used in the last 50 games:

-If it's your first time hosting, it's MANDATORY to have the help of someone that has hosted before. As long as they aren't banned, it doesn't matter if this person hosted twenty times or just once. This experienced host will be the "Main Host", while the new one assumes the role of "co-host".
-Tasks will be split in a rather equal manner so that the Main Host can keep things in check while the Co-host gets hands-on experience to learn properly.
-The Main Host has the final say when it comes to decisions (ideally, this won't need to be enforced heavily, it's mostly to avoid possible issues).

Once the game is over, the co-host can host on their own and even take the role of "experienced host" for a new host in need!

Questionable plays aside, in terms of intuition of guilt, I think @goodboy_lawlett was the best in the game.

In a town full of people making questionable plays on the regular (not that we should), I think that intuition is worth noting.

Ehh, that's true. His questionable play happened at the most critical moment, so it's less forgiving, but his intuition was on point throughout the game.

I think lawl was the best townie but MYSTERIOUS PERSON is the best player for somehow never getting lynched even though people said they should since day 3.

Idk what will happen next but ggwp everyone. We all did good. Specially me. Good job me.

This is my first time Mafia game and i play with zero knowledge about it. I just play with the draft i make every day phase and tracking iffy behaviors then substitute. Like what happened with Brandish. He gave wrong info about me which auto made me think he is a Mafia, Normal reflex imo from a townie. Moreover, I have a problem that i don't trust anyone and i played with that doubtful mental throughout the game. I don't know how to trust anyone based on just hints and claims, It could be fake, It could misleading. Anything really but then you still find ppl blind trust others which makes me really uncomfortable cuz i don't think there is a way to trust someone 100%.

It was enjoyable experience but i hate when it ends that way. I really got angry at some ppl and i apologize for that. I'm just short tempered semi mad women. I don't think i will play Mafia again because i don't like teamwork and i love to be solo, I like to act on my own and mind my own business and not relying on anyone. Hence Serial killer is my fav role but there is like 1% chance to ever get this role.. so it's my last game.

lastly

I think it's good to be in the top 3 but on a scale of 10, How you think i played the game? I like compliments but i prefer honesty.

Raven you went too far with your temper at one point where you wanted out, but you came back. Overall you were refreshing for MG imo. You defs are a lone wolf but it's funner to think that way when playing, especially as town, in my view. If you play again I will sign up, with my snipping screen tool at the ready!

Around 7/8. 10 for a newbie although (as people are probably tired of reading from me) your level of engagement for your first game indicated you were SOMETHING. Also that you are a bit of a psychopath.
