I am not defensive. My eyes bleed when i see Digitaldude writing this as his arguments and then people switching votes. Kinda dissapointed. Oh and i am not suddenly defensive i am just done with reading all the pages

Twenty-first of August, 1497
The group were ecstatic! They were finally going to get rid of [user]Digitaldude[/user] whom, according to sources have long been a Borgia spy. Autumn was approaching and the plan was set. Digitaldude was probably one of the most dangerous persons in their group - spy or not. He had previously worked for the templars but left during an internal dispute during the Pazzi Conspiracy. Not everyone dared to approach him mid-day, let alone attack him.
While Digitaldude was away on a mission in Firenze the group finalized their plan. The person who were going to carry out the murder was no-one else but [user]dark lord[/user].



Sixth of September, 1497
It was a Sunday, the people of Rome gathered in the Centro district. All but the "resistance". They were preparing an attack on Castra Praetoria, or so Digitaldude thought...

While they were finalizing the tactics of the assault dark lord jumped out of a hay-bale and stuck his knife in the back of Digitaldude. Digitaldude was unprepared, but his years in the Templar Organisation hasn't passed by without leaving any marks - he swiftly turned around and stabbed dark lord in the leg with a highly poisonous knife before he fell down, dying, on the ground.
No-one saw it coming and even though the doctors fought as much as they could they couldn't save dark lord.
Afterwards they found a letter in Digitaldude's pocket with approval of an underground alliance with the Thieves Guild of Rome.
Maybe he wasn't a spy after all...

The Resistance has laid low for weeks - Ever since the failed assassination of who they thought were a spy. Now, however, they couldn't wait. Everyone was prepared to do their duty as a Citizen of Rome. The influence of the Borgia Family has expanded and will soon reach the eyes of the French. The French dukes were corrupted to the bone and wouldn't hesitate to ally themselves with the Borgias to conquer Italy, it was only a matter of time. The Assassins were on the move with its informants, trying to find out everything they could about the other members of the Resistance. They needed to know who was the spy, and they needed to know everything about the Borgias plans for the end of the year.

Something had to be done...

With the Assassins gone the Borgia would get free room to do as they please if it weren't for a group of Mercenaries from Tuscany, recruited and trained by Mario Auditore. They entered Rome to swear their allegiance to the Assassins Order but without the order and the presence of their leader, Mario, they didn't have a purpose like before. With ties in both the Resistance and the House of Borgia a third party entered the game, ready to do whatever they could to maintain peace in Rome. Be it Resistance members, be it Borgia members. The Borgia were the enemies of the Order, and the Resistance had double-agents and traitors. No-one may walk the streets of Rome without feeling unease again.

Blitz tried recruiting Mafia, if what I am guessing also and that Ust was the Mafia kill because his role is covered up, so there must also be a janitor.

I noticed it too, that Ustegius was first shown as Detective. That the Host hid his role later indicates that he was killed by the Mafia.

And the recruiter died too? This means we have either an Insane Doc like Banana said or the Lone Mafia killed him. Other posibility is that he wanted to recruite a Mafia.

NEW ROLE
​

Mercenary (Third Party): In Game 11, the Mercenary is a ruthless third party member, knowing about the Lovers and trying to eliminate all of the Civilians, and members of the House of Borgia. Lovers doesn't know about him, he is, to them a mysterious character who could be both a civilian and a member of the Borgias. He works in the dark to make sure the Third Party has the majority of the remaining members. Since the Mafia are only three they are already on par with the Third Party in terms of numbers, therefore getting rid of the Mercenary is a top priority (even though he could work for their benefit and get rid of vital Civilians. The Mercenary has the ability to kill one person every night and the victim will have his or her role revealed (i.e. Borgia Assassin or Insane Doctor).

The Mercenary awakens during the second night.

The third party wins when there are more of them than Borgias / Civilians (3 third party, 2 borgia, 2 civilians)

The Mercenary is a person who can be recruited by both the Masons and the Mafia. If the Mercenary gets recruited by the Mafia he becomes a Guard, if the Masons recruit him he'll turn into an ally of the Masons. When recruited he is able to talk with the allied faction, as well as commit murder (during night-phase). Thus enhancing the power and importance of the Masons whilst being an important addition for the Mafia if they want to win. (NO RECRUITMENT IN GAME 11)
