Re: Charlie - One thing i find interesting is comparing a persons demeanour inside the game to how they usually are outside the the game. Now Charlie is a level-headed and calm member. Which makes all his recent posts seem very uncharacteristic of him. The rash voting of me and aki i could put aside as an effort to make the phase move faster. But when he started moaning about how long the phase is taking and "bored" he is. It just seemed out of place to his normal character.

Now i mentioned something similar about Akiyama. He usually is more easy going and would joke more and i asked why he wasnt like this when I voted for him. He said that he was being serious because he didnt want to die in the first round like in the previous game, which one can understand. I would like to hear Charlie's explanation for his sudden urgent, uncharacteristic unpoised self?

As for me i suppose i have been to entranced in my role but i dont think i was being cocky.

Edit: Actually now that i look back...i suppose they were tongue-in-cheek cocky. xD

The problem is that by the in game pseudo paranoia any sort of behavior can cause suspicion. I mean, if you act in character people would be suspicious because because you are too calm but in turn being out of character would mean you are hiding something. There is nowhere to hide from the insanity.

well at its core, this game is a battle of wits. Good mafia members will kill those they know they can't outargue and good townies will be active, attentive and aggressive. They'll analyze the posts to find a weakspot within the scum's web of falsehoods. Mafia members need to be good at faking it of course, but if you lie too much its easier for you to stumble and get killed out of suspicion.

we've got an either/or situation here, I think its either Aki or Charlie but not both. If Charlie ends up being innocent, than we should kill Aki next round

I was the cop last game, but nobody believed I was the cop even when I used this to prove my innocence.
